Long time since I spoke to you hammy. Idk if you into livery customization but if so you gonna enjoy that. Best part of the game.

Hey elite my friend how you doing? I'm busy on PCARS 2 atm, doing well in a GTE league....But enough about the competition lol!! :sly:

Yes i'm looking forward to the livery thingymajig, i've been downloading decals this week, so you can imagine what i'm going to have on the side of my car!! :dopey: :lol:

I hope to see you around my long lost friend, and i also hope we can race sometime really soon!! I'm nearer your time zone now for being in Argentina! 👍 :gtpflag:

And everyone, feel free to add me on PSN, i'm a hard, but a very fair Hamster! ;)

What we need is a direct conduit to PD. Something like....... well Kaz himself dropping by, answering questions and even giving updates. We could call it "Ask Kaz"............

OH! Hang on, we already tried this and it was a total failure because no one from PD ever bothered to show up ;-)

So yes, it is tragic that the fan base is accustomed to PD over promising and under delivering but hey, we all went out and bought another game by these guys didn't we ;-) And further to this, it is nice to not have to stick my hand in my wallet every time new stuff is released so I for one and more than happy to wait.

My dream game would be: graphics and online from GT Sport, cars and tracks from PCARS 2, the physics of Assetto Corsa and the budget of Call of Duty with free updates and content the first of every month :-)
Pd are a bunch of cheats

Hope they'll add Gr. 4 GT League races.
I die a little every time someone asks for this.

Go to race -> custom race -> pick a GR 4 car - Select number of opponents -> select options- > select track -> tada.

Id much rather PD introduce races I can't recreate ..

Yes, But still..... some folk would just prefer to go straight into a preset race without having to select all those options first. 👍

It would be nice to have representative races available in GT league for all car classes.

I literally think its the same amount of clicks , give or take one .

It would be nice too if PD implemented multi-class in Arcade Mode. Heck, some of the races in the game already utilize it to an extent.
That, and that they make every single car in the game useable as a courtesy car in Arcade Mode instead of only eight cars. You won't be able to tune or use custom liveries on them, but at least you can drive anything out of everything, which is essentially trying before buying cars, or just to have fun, which doesn't defeat the purpose of buying cars in your garage while at the same time, making everything available right off the bat. Like in Forza.

It's more than the clicks. I enjoy CUSTOM races. Part of it are the payouts and AI. Put the rabbit chasing aside for a moment.

Gr. 3, Gr. 1 and even Gr. 2, which did not exist, events have been added in updates, but no Gr. 4. If I wanted to match a Gr. 3 clean race payout, doing a Gr. 4 race, I'd have to run about 10 30 minute races. Where as, I could run the one Gr. 3 in 50 minutes.

Hey, I like the game. I play as much as I can. It is cool to change up tracks and lap/time settings, etc. However, as Nowcontrol posted, I'd also like to jump in a preset Gr. 4 race and have fun too.

Isn't the LaFerrari N1000? Then, that's where they'd go. And yes, the P1 and the 918 need to join their "brother".
It would certainly make sense from that point of view but the class structure could lead to a different result because of their power:

....
....
N600 = 550 - 650 PS
N700 = 650 - 750 PS
N800 = 750 - 850 PS
N900 = 850 - 950 PS (Presumably)
N1000 = > 950 PS

LaF (963) and Veyron (1001) are above 950 PS. 918 is a bit below 900 and the P1 has 936 PS (If I'm not mistaken), so PD could decide to make a N900 class (currently missing) for them. Strange, I know.

That, and that they make every single car in the game useable as a courtesy car in Arcade Mode instead of only eight cars. This is something that needs to happen, but my hopes are quite low.

My first bit of artistry!! :D

I gotta say, I'm somewhat disappointed in the latest update and here's why:

Firstly, we get a classic Fiat 500. If it had some rivals, fair enough. But 15hp. What's it going to race against?
Secondly, an almost identical Clio to one we already have. Ugh...why?
Thirdly, Megane Trophy. Really necessary?
Fourthly, Lancer Evo IV. We've already had quite a few 90s JDMs. Do we really need another?
The Miura is a nice addition as well as the 3 Group C cars but it would have been better if they had added a few more Group Cs like the 787B, 905 Evo and 962 rather than give a bunch of mediocre cars IMO.

Why not add a car like the Alfa Brera, 8C Competizione, Maserati Gran Turismo S, Audi RS6 Avant etc? These cars get me excited. On the other hand, I never understood the obsession about JDMs apart from the fact that they are popular as tuners.

I respect your opinion but JDM cars are brilliant fun, as for the Renault’s well I’m sure PD have Manufacture obligations so that’s the reason they are put in. Overall this is another stellar update and I for one am extremely greatful for the continued support and evolution of GTSports.

As an alfaholic, I really understand your first two choices and I also think they would have been better than a slightly different Clio or a BRZ. But I'm also sure that sooner or later most of the premium cars will be brought back, we just need to be patient.

Maybe you should work for them? So you can get exactly what you want

Yes, because it's a 1990s JDM Mitsubishi and the only Mitsubishis in the game at this point were variations of the Lancer Evolution X.

They most likely will...eventually. It's clear now that PD is keen on bringing back all of their premiums from GT6 along with making premium variants of their standard cars.

The garage thumbails were gone for me at the first load of the game but as soon I opened the garage it started to load
the car thumbnails.

In the undocumented thread another member of the forum suggested click on the car and then close and it should fix the thumbnail.

re: Gr.4 League races.

its the monkey paw... here's your races, ridiculously simple races at Willow Tsukuba and Suzuka... hope you enjoy!

Given most of the other offline campaign race series have had other races added to them during the course of the DLC the likelyhood
is other races will get added to the Gr4 event, this is just the starting set.

Anybody having problems with images of your cars not appearing when picking one from your garage when starting a race after this update

Me too, but had the issue since getting another PS4 pro the other day, is there anyway to get them back? Sometimes if I leave it some pop up but not always?

I’m having the exact same issue, the cars are still there just no thumbnail image :/

Sarcasm is not really necessary. Just debating the latest update is all. Why so defensive?

I hope so because some of GT6s premiums I really enjoyed.

I'm not impressed with gt sport. Not enough content,to enjoy. Lots of promises but very few perks. Sport could be so much better than this,and it's not. What a waste for PD.

I found that getting into a car without a picture then going to change livery and selecting the default livery fixes that. Not useful if you have loads of cars though.
