Mazda RX-7 RS-R '97

Nice edit, but... there are a few things I can see wrong here. First off, I don't think there was ever an Ẽfini RX-7 Type RS-R. Also, the RS-R was a 1997 model FD, meaning it had the whale tail rear wing instead of the ones that tapered downwards like the premium 1991 FD.

Also, it's worth nothing the 1991 FD came in Competition Yellow Mica, whereas the 1997 RS-R came in Sunburst Yellow. I'm not astute enough to notice these colour differences though, so I can't tell which you used.

Guess I can't fool a pro, heheh :sly:

Thanks! I tried my best to make a premium RS-R. :D

Here's what I did, and didn't do. :dopey:

I removed the fog lights because the RS-R doesn't seem to have them.
I changed the wheels to something similar. Too bad we can't paint the stock wheels, the RS-R seems to have the same wheels on the premium 1991 RX-7, only in black.
I changed the license plate to something similar also. Tried to match the font.
I painted the car in Sunburst Yellow from the RS-R. I think it's because of the editing which makes it look different.
I left the rear wing as it is because you can barely see it in the picture.
I left the badge as it is because I'm not skilled enough to remove it.

I appreciate your feedback! Nothing like advice from an expert. :)

Man, if only there was none of this standard/premium BS, I wouldn't need to do all this, haha. Also, more variants of a certain car like in older GTs. I miss the RX-7 GT-C and the RX-7 A-spec from GT2. :(

Heh, I'm not an expert. Just a fanboy. To be honest I hadn't even noticed the RS-R didn't have fog lights because I don't drive it often. I miss the SA22C RX-7 and RX-7 A-Spec from GT2 too. But if they were in GT5 people would be like "WHY A MILLION OF THE SAME CARS WE WANT PORSCHES". It's surprising to see someone so found of a particular model of a car though, especially a Standard one. Any particular reason why?

Anyway, since this is a thread for Mazda photos instead of a thread to talk about RX-7s, have some shots I have sitting around:

^What he said, that sleepy RX-7 looks nice in white! 👍

And replied in a PM, SquareSticks. :)

Cat outta the bag, not an RX-7 RS-R :embarrassed:

Metropolis...Into The Light

Decided to do a quick edit this time. I set myself a time limit of 20 minutes and this is the result...it took me 25 minutes! :yuck:

gotta love the combination of The Furai concept and SSRX!
