I kinda miss the days when they called it SPUMC.

No idea what's going on here (can't see the third name, but with Mackie and Kirby it's Captain America and Fantastic Four), but it doesn't appear like the image has changed in half an hour.

Marvel Edgetertainment..?

Edit: Oooooohhhhh it's been zooming out. Chris Hemsworth, Vanessa Kirby, Anthony Mackie, and Sebastian Stan so far.

Going to be Doomsday then. Good to know Sue Storm probably survives F4 before we've seen it then.

Edit: Oh good, Shuri next.

I really need to work on my MCU backlog. The last one I watched was Dr Strange 2 - I'm 3 years behind, almost an entire blip.

Tiny chair for Ant-Man :)

I made it as far as Quantumania, which reeked. And Deadpool & Wolverine, but hardly the same.

US Agent/John Walker next, so that's both a Thunderbolts* tie-in and another spoiler.

Wait, is the default to assume your title characters die in their debut movie? OK...
No, but it's just nice not to have the fact they're going to make it completely confirmed before you walk in, suspending any peril there may be for that character in that film. Especially Thunderbolts* where there's an assumption one is going to be paste quite early on.

Thing also surviving, and Shang-Chi also coming back.

Edit: Kelsey Grammer!? I assume Beast?

Edit: Ugh, Sentry seems like a bigger Thunderbolts* spoiler, also Red Guardian, new Falcon, another F4er in Joseph Quinn.

Edit: Yay M'baku! Also Ghost.

Edit: LOKI!!!!!!

Edit: WHAT

Edit: Okay, X-Men are really here now. SirPatStew, SirIanMcK, and Kurt Wagner himself.

Edit: And good Mystique, not J-Law. Also it's explicitly titled "Avengers: Doomsday | Cast Announce" now.

Edit: And Cyclops...

Edit: All F4 now, and Gambit...

I presume we're saving up to the end for Tom Holland, Hugh Jackman, and Robert Downey Jr. In about six days' time.

I doubt Halle Berry would be interested in returning any more than I think anyone's enjoyment of the FF movie would be marred by knowing they all survive their first starring appearance in the MCU.

Observers have pointed out that although there's no Hugh Jackman, Ryan Reynolds or Benadryl Kombuchabach on the chair backs, the latter's previously confirmed he'll be appearing in the movie after this one so using the reveal video as the basis of a (ahem) dead pool perhaps isn't the most reliable method of prediction.

Granted, he admits he could be talking bollocks as well, though.

Oh god I forgot that the Fox-Men are in this now. I'd have to catch up on all those as well. And the Disney+ shows.
I don't think I have the energy, my superhero fatigue is flaring up again.

It's hard for me to tell as I've watched the vast majority of Marvel's output over the years, but aside from Avengers: Endgame and maybe Spider-Man: Far From Home I can't think of any of their movies which'd be significantly impacted by not having watched previous MCU instalments. Maybe I'm mistaken but I think every other movie or at least arc-starter gets the viewer up to speed fairly quickly if they're not familiar with the characters.
