A few things I see that I really like here;
1, you have a place in your heart for American muscle cars.
2, you approach cars seeking THIER 'perfect' PP spot, not what you want them to be. (Yeah, I notice these things, lol)
3, you are willing to step out of your comfort zone to find a cars hot spots. (Yeah, again, I notice these things, lol)

I also like the fact that you recognize the fact that people's playing styles vary greatly, and can make 1 person say WTFisTHIS??!?, and someone else turn it into their new go-to car. You have all the makings of a really beneficial garage for the community.
I will be keeping an eye on you, lol. ^^

The Viper's Nest

I started this project a while ago. Funny that @Bowtie-muscle and I should have the same idea at nearly the same time. They are fine machines and my hat is off to him, he put in a ton of time and work and has been able to help me on a question or too. Thanks bud. I would also like to at this time thank those that have helped with this by driving some of these hair brained tunes and giving me some great feedback. You are all appreciated.

I stumbled on what would seem like a different, (at least not main stream), for tuning a difficult car that was prone to understeer at a past FITT event. I had a little success and, with a little encourgement, decided the idea was valid. I drove a lot of Vipers. It was a car that nearly everyone was complaining about. The tunes were fine, some were really great. They all had one thing in common, I didn't like the feel. Off to the thinking room.......

What do I like in a car? Well, its got to have excellent brakes. Smooth, powerful and neutral. A smooth entry that allows the car to gather energy, and then rocket off the apex through exit. (corner exit is my favorite place to pass). Trail brake in, a little gas through the midpoint, then drop the hammer, HARD! This is my preferred way to drive.

The cars will need a little power being applied while in the corner. If it is still understeering you are not using enough power. The negative rear toe will DRIVE the rotation through the corner. The front turns, the back drives,.... drive around the corner. It may take a little bit of brain reprograming. The replays are a blast to watch. I hope you all enjoy, and looking forward to your thoughts. Happy Racing, Merlin.

P.S. Just for fun...I went on line....and there really are snakes the color of these cars!
