I do own a Festivus Tree which came with a Seinfeld DVD collection when those were things people bought.

Being the newest member here I see some spectating in my future. I do have a couple of questions for tonight: 1) It seems there some sort of qualifying for the heats. How does this work? 2) Grid starts are kind of new to me. What is a "false start check"? Pointers welcomed and actively encouraged. See you all tonight, at least for a little while.

2. Hold the handbrake and have your revs where you want them until the red lights go out. Then let go of the handbrake.

Basically we take the avg finish from the qualifying heat's and the top 16 drivers will move on and run the feature.

False start check is basically the same as normal but you get a delayed start you will see

On “qualifying” the first race grid order is based off of a random number draw for all entered drivers. take tonight for instance. We have 18 drivers. Each one will be assigned a random number. Once numbers are drawn the grid is set.
Lobby A has all odd number drivers. The driver with #1 starts first, #3 second, #5 third and so on. Lobby B is for even drawn numbers/drivers. #2 starts first, 4 second and so on.
Example below (From last week)

Qualifying procedures

(2) heat lobbies

All confirmed drivers will be assigned a random number (1-however many drivers)1 hour prior to lobby opening.

Your number will determine your lobby placement as well as your starting position for the first heat race.

Odd numbers go to Lobby A (if you draw a 1,3,5 etc.)
Even numbers go to Lobby B (if you draw a 2,4,6 etc.)

There will be 2 heat races
Heat one grid determined by lobby number (in the even number lobby numbers 2, 4, 6, 8, would line up 1, 2, 3, 4)
Heat two reverse grid (reverse of finishing position for first heat race)

Average heat finish determines starting grid position. (if you finish 8th in the first heat and 6th in the second heat your average finish would be 7th)
Lobby A lines up on one side of the grid (if your average finish is 7th in lobby A you would be the 7th car back on the left side of the grid)
Lobby B lines up on the other side

Top 3 finishers from each lobby receive 1 bonus point each.

Does "Handbrake" mean the round circle on the controller or the brake pedal? Or either?
