Hey guys, it says I need to DL the 1.01 patch... I click on that BIT TORRENT, no good for 10 -15 minutes, always stuck at 0
When I click the other option for direct DL, after a minute, I have a server error? Anyone knows why? ANY thing will be appreciated!

I'd say it's like the Konami IDs: server overload. A lot of people are probably having the same problem as you - they need to download the patch - and so they all get online to acquire it. That's just a guess, though.
Konami probably should have worked it in shifts if it was going to be a widespread thing: this region downloads at this time, and that region downloads at that. With a few repeats in case peopl missed it the first time. That's how I'd do it.

ok after my post. i re started PS3... went to the BIT TORENT thingy and it works now.. at 15% .. seems slow.. maybe in 2-4 hours I will have it done.

Must admit this has annoyed me a little, as I am away with work for 4 days from the 27th, grrrrrrrr (at least I get one night before a break).

You dont need anything actually. You choose to download the update either via konami's website or a p2p torrent thing. Its all in the mgo beta.

Ok My download finished yesterday, Approximately 5 hours from the start in game P2P bit torrent
Once I try to Log in with that Konami Game ID, I had an error message.. The MGO site says online play is delay till this Friday

you need to open the default port on your router or change the port.

i really am getting fed up with game upates! why cant they be on the ps store!!! i tried torrent and only got 3 people and about 20kbps which is rubbish. after bout 10 mina all the seeds died so i exited with the progress bar on 0%. until konami get the server download running or more people on the server i may not bother which is a shame cos mgo looks so good.

Just played my first match, well four actually (the joy of working from home) and I have to say I'm impressed.
Connection is slick, creation good and the matches that I have played so far are fun.
Its a pain getting used to the controls after so much COD4, but I'm sure it will not take long. It also seem to integrate well with the website side of thing, as I found a blog site for me already set up to start. Clans are in place and I think setting up private rooms should be easy.
My in-game name is Scaff (what a big surprise) and while I do now actually have to do some work (boo) I will be on again later tonight.

I Google it out, and from Playstation Forums tehy say that servers are still not up..
That's a pain.
The PAL servers (as in Europe and Australia/NZ) are up and running, hopefully not to much longer to wait for you guys.

I play few rounds.. And after.. few hours.. about 20 minutes ago, just got An error message.. singe me out form PSN.. First time my PS3 did that in ages
But anyways, game is awesome online. There seems to be lag, but at least CHARACTERS don't jump form Corner to corner because of lag issues..
First match, was a TDM and right away I pull of 2nd palce, I got few kills and no deaths.
So far so good
