I'll be using the Toyota.

I had a quick go with each of the cars. Initially I thought the Razo Silvia was going to be the best, but now I think the Toyota MR-S is the best. I didn't have any joy with the S-2000 at all...that car's a bit of a joke.

Whereas for MRS 1 the RUF was clearly the better car for the track, I think this time it could be fairly even who goes for the Toyota and who goes for the Razo Silvia.

I also will be using the Toyota, i tried all 3 yesterday and I also didnt quite like the S2000 but others might.

I might go for the Nissan purely on the basis that I can't bear to look at the Toyota in the replays...

I've tried all 3 cars and definatley going with the toyota for this one :)

I'm just glad i did'nt spend too long in the spoon (it was the 1st one i tried)

I will be using the Toyota MR-S. I agree that the Spoon is a bit of a joke. That thing had no torque, I think it LOST speed going up the hill before the start/finish straight.

BTW - Thanks ZC for letting me in on this:), I probably won't be much of a threat because I compared some of my times from the first race and most all of you would have beat me anyway (I need to practice)
This just gives me more reason to play GT3. This is the first time I have got in on one of these comps.

yeah ill go with the Toyota too...

Guess what everyone?? I'm gonna be using the Toyota MR-S too. ;)

Initially I took the S2000 out for a few laps and not having driven the other 2 at this stage thought that it handled quite nicely but the gearing was not suited to the track.

Jumped in the Silvia and instantly felt the improved power it had over the Honda. Handling was not quite up there with the S2000 but overall far quicker and gearing was much improved for the track. Improved my best lap by almost 7 seconds over the S2000!

This really surprised me as I wasn't expecting anything special out of the MR-S. To be honest don't really like them at all, but this little baby had it all. It matched the Silvia on power and had the handling of the Honda to boot. Gearing was great for a standard setup and within 2 laps had smashed my previous best using the Silvia. In the end took almost another second off my best after 6 laps and that's where I'm leaving it.

I did exactly the same thing , tried the Spoon 1st  then the Silvia and beat it by about 7 secs :) And then i saw Jayjitsu's post about the Mr-s and had to give it a try, wasn't expecting anything special but was ahead of my Silvia ghost straight away on the 1st lap :D Anyway i'm gonna get back to qualifying now. Laters

I have not heard back from ZeroCool yet but I would like to take the Silvia for the Midfield challenge 2.

You can race. The more the merrier.

Anyone gonna use the Nissan? I would not like there being an all Toyota field, i have gotten a good lap in the Nissan and a slightly better one in the Toyota, lets see some divserity. And if you use the S2000 you get 45seconds off your race time (kidding)

I'll use the Silvia-I'm driven :D OK, I know that was cheesy. Honestly, I will use the Razo though, it was only about 0.4 sec slower than the Toyota. I better get some serious laps in before I run my qualifier. (I wonder if my boss would let me leave early? )

You shouldn't be kidding Zero! I can lap between 7-8 seconds per lap better using the MR-S! A ten lap race you should get at least 70 seconds taken off your time if you use the S2000.

Actually, just on the debate on cars, well done to the GT3 designers for there being such marked differences between different cars even in arcade mode.

The race at Grand Valley with the Calsonic Skyline and the Mugen NSX was an eye-opener. The cars run pretty close to the same times, but go about it in very different ways.

Well then maybe we should have 1 or more people run the S2000 so that we can take at least 70seconds off their time. When i first selected these cars I had no idea that the S2000 would suck so much compared to the MR-S and Silvia

Just drop the S2000, you only had two cars in the last race. Next time just make sure that the torque is similar on all the cars :P

I don't think (imo) that you should ADD/SUBTRACT anything to anybody's time. What you ran is what you ran.

Me either? They game displays the incorrect bhp for the S2000. On the Arcade screen it says it has 295bhp like the other 2, but when you race and save your time it says it only has 265bhp or something  No wonder it can't keep up!
