MIDGET POWER - Daihatsu Midget Sprint Races (Finished)

This is a fun event where we will take the Daihatsu Midget to the track.
This event is open to anyone.

Schedule:
Saturday 12 April 2014
10:00pm BST / 5:00pm EDT / 2:00pm PDT
Duration: About 1 hour


Car Requirements:
Car: Daihatsu Midget II D type ‘98
Tires: Comfort Soft Tires and Dirt Tires.
Tuning: Prohibited
An oil change is permitted.
Optional: Paint work for the body and rims. “Inch up” rims are allowed.

Race Regulations:
All aids off except ABS
Blind Spot Indicator is permitted.
Tire/Fuel Depletion: Very Fast
Grip: Real
Slipstream: Real
Damage: Off
Boost: Off
Race Finish Delay: 120 Seconds


Race Procedure:
Send a friend request to me on PSN (PersonAbove-Nice) well before the start date, as the room will be set to “friends only”.

The Lobby will be open about 15 minutes prior to the start time. Participants are encouraged to arrive before the start time.

Before we start, we will have a quick visual check. This means that every player will announce how many participants they can see on the track. If a player can’t see as many participants as the others can, they are encouraged to leave and re-join the lobby.

Qualification: A 5 minute "Race Alone" qualification is permitted on our first track; Matterhorn Short Track (this may seem like a pretty long time on such a small track, however, 5 minutes is the minimum qualification time allowed. Feel free to enter the pits and park there anytime during qualification).

Trial Mountain Circuit – 2 laps

Race 7:
Deep Forest Raceway – 2 laps

Race 8:
Eiger Nordwand K Trail – 1 lap


Rules:
Participants are to follow the GTP OLR Rules. It's compulsory.
If a player is found to be obstructive consistently, they will be kicked.

This will replace Tsukuba Circuit, as I do not want this event to exceed an hour.

EDIT: Never mind, I've come to the decision to use this track because there will be a lot of close battles on it, and therefore be more fun (that's the reason for this event)

This does seem fun. Although I probably will only be able to complete the earlier races...or perhaps I'll join later, depending. Obviously if there are more full-timers, they should take priority.

These things are brilliant downhill! And a bit dangerous, I've rolled a couple of times...
