Sorry I think I got confused when you said Monday I thought you meant Monday night, I realise that technically midnight would be Monday morning so I should have made it clearer from the start, I'll log you down for Sunday night but I know another racer cannot do Sunday and the way votes are going so far it looks like it will be Friday night anyway. I'm hoping you'll at least be able to join us ocassionally whatever happens

I'm thinking of leaving it open for the rest of the week, to gather a few more racers and votes on a night, then start first week of august. Unless everyone can't wait to get going then I'm happy to start this friday.... let me know what you all think

Maybe you should do a "preseason" race this Friday so everyone can get their feet wet and get a feel for how things will flow.

Thats a good idea, think we'll do a few sprint races on the tracks we'll be visiting during the season

yep we're running pre-season sprint races on friday, there's a link in the op for your local time, participation is not mandatory but it would be good to see you all there. The following week we'll start the first race of the season

No problem mate you're in, hadn't really given much thought to "no shows", only gonna count 8 races so it'd be a few weeks before we'd know someone was a no show. If we get one then I'll let you switch cars as really I just didn't want the same car on track more than once. That said there is a good mix of cars left with MR/FR/4WD available depending on your preference. Let me know which one you decide on so I can reserve it for you and don't forget to vote for a night of the week

Great races tonight Soopa, I enjoyed that.

Don't want to make a big thing of it but I have just watched a replay of the Tokyo race where I was accused of racing dirty by boshuter.

Looking at the replay with the view I had at the time (behind the whole of my car) I can't see anything I have done wrong?

If you look at 2nd/3rd corner on the 1st lap, you will see boshuter purposely turn into me trying to take me out.

Seems like sour grapes boshuter...

From watching the first lap a few times from behind both cars I don't really see either of you doing anything wrong, going round turn 3 boshuter got an outside line on Kingy and on exiting the corner first tries to give Kingy room, but when correcting to save from hitting the wall does make a little contact but nothing that looked malicious to me. The last left hander Kingy makes a late dive for the inside but doesn't make it, should've yielded (as boshuter was ahead on the racing line) but makes contact, again it didn't look particularly malicious and I'm not sure but may have gone wide to give the position back at the next corner. All in all from a 3rd party perspective you had a great battle throughout the race and both seemed to do your best not to make contact, the contact that was made on both sides here and there was all part of racing, even the professionals have as much contact as this and it makes for very entertaining racing to watch. Had either of you caused the other to spin out through contact I would expect gentlemanly conduct and wait for the other driver to continue ahead before battling on.

I hope you can both put this behind you and join in with the season ahead, personally I hope to see many more battles between the two of you.

p.s In future please keep all disputes off the thread, I would like them to be discussed through PM with each other and/or me, I've seen this done on other threads and comments by one driver can give others a negative view of someone when they were not necessarily at fault.

I just realised I made a mistake with the regulations last night, TCS should've been allowed and wasn't, it's habit for me to disable it as I usually run public rooms with everything off to keep out the punters. I will make sure it is available for future races.

It was 100% turned on last night. It does slow you down a bit but helps keep me pointing the right direction!
