Mileage??

Just a quick question...
After hearing about the NEW Fatest FF lap time recorded at The Nurburgring in the Renault R26R which was 8.07.97 completely stock apparantly, i have purchased a Megane. 426bhp ( sports exhaust, i like the sound better than the racing ) and i have been ragging the life out of it ( it would be broke if was real life lol ) the best i could manage was a 7.01 ( in my lobby ) i did sevaral laps trying to get a few seconds here an there, now my question.. do u have to enter it in a race to clock the mileage up?

Milage does not rack up in 'free run' mode. As far as I know, every other mode will

This should probably be moved the the Q&A part of the forum but no mileage does not rack up in practice mode.

It does add mileage in 'practice mode'
It does NOT add mileage in 'free run', which is what the OP is asking.

It does add mileage in "free run".
But you have to back out and let the game save when your done, or it won't.
I have a few cars ran only in the WRS that back me up on this.

I think you guys are talking about a different 'free run' than the OP and I.
The OP specifically mentioned his 'lobby' meaning an online lounge. Free run, is where you 'enter the track' to qualify, practice or whatever while you wait for the actual race to start. I've never seen this add mileage to a car. Last I checked, WRS has never been run in an online lounge, so I think you're just confused.

Thanks for clering that up adrenaline, some people really need to read before the reply... and yes once in my lounge, on the track ( not in a race ). I will check the next time i run/tune a car and come out and save to see if the milleage has clocked up, if it dont... How crap is that lol...
