Well, spawn had a few spots of grief today. I guess I jinxed it. Its getting close to completion.

When we finish spawn we should plan a "grand reopening" where everyone could be on at the same time.

Curious... so did that "other" portal get taken down? Now when I use my portal I end up somewhere completely different in the nether. Go back through the portal and I end up at spawn point...? I wonder.. does anyone ever end up at my portal?
 
What would you like to see done on the inside of the spawn building?

Keep it open with some kiosks or something posting the server rules and such?

A hallway running through the middle with rooms with rules and such in them?

Something else?

Spawn is finished except for the rules kiosks. I will probably set up one side for rules and one side for future warps. New players have been asking about an admin shop. Do we have a shops plugin?

I have found the end many times in other maps. However, the map we are currently playing on, we located the general area of the end using ender pearls. When we got near the end portal we found the silverfish blocks. But when we broke the blocks out there was a water fountain where the end should be? We were playing in survival mode on hard. After an hour of looking for the end we decided to copy the seed to another world and try to locate the end in creative mode. STILL cant find the end portal. What is going on? Is this a bug or a bad world? This was created about a year ago on the 360.

It's a bug that was fixed later in an update for 360, however if you are playing on the pc with the 360 save I think (correct me if I am wrong on this one) but one stronghold per map, if created a new save on pc with the 360 seed and everything, there are 3 strongholds. If it's a bad world all 3 should be the same. If it's just one then it's most likely that one from the 360.

We are playing on 360 with 360 save. First time I have ever seen this happen in the year and a half I have been playing MC.

I wonder if we transfer this save to the X1 if it will correct itself. Or is this world just junk and we should just make another new world?? We just found potatoes last night and watermelon too. :guilty:
 
May be stating the obvious here but do make sure you explore the area very very thoroughly. On the PC version I spent ages trying to find the portal room once I had dug down, the strongholds are very samey and maze-like, the doors that close so darn quick and missing bits of floor (in my case, I think it intersected a cave or mine) didn't help either. When I eventually did find the portal, I marked out the route from the entrance I'd made. Also although I only encountered silverfish in the portal room, they may live in and around other features too such as fountains.

Yes fully explored the area. Once you find silverfish, the end portal is usually right there. I thought for sure silverfish are only at the very end. In fact I have never seen silverfish other than the end portal. Maybe I am wrong about that. In place of the end was a water fountain. Silver fish blocks completely surrounded this fountain. The ender pearl keeps bringing us directly to this fountain.

Oh well we have plenty of other maps. Just a huge disappointment since we found the nether, a village, potatoes, and watermelon all in the same night. Thought for sure we would at least find the end portal. Well we found it, but it is just not there. Its really the first time I have ever seen this happen out of all the worlds I have been in.

Is it still the same spawn area as before? And has the grieving stopped?

I saw the pic a few pages back of the chicken shop. Not too hard to fix so I'm not too bummed, but I'd kinda expected it to happen at some point. Still no internet in my apartment so still unable to rejoin the server for the time being!

Silverfish can be found elsewhere if you mine enough under hills, believe me I've been bitten a few times! But all the other things you say point to some sort of bug, that sucks =(

Actually see this and the embedded video. This shows that silverfish occur in strongholds generally, hiding in blocks, and the end portal room contains a silverfish spawner. I forgot this, my portal room had a spawner but also woke silverfish in blocks. So if there isn't a spawner in your fountain room, the portal room may be elsewhere, or not exist.

Ok the server has been updated to run better and have more features.

A drawback is that homes couldn't be transferred, I'm afraid you'll have to set them again.

I'm still working on some other bugs.
 
No I can't chat in the server @DQuaN xD.

Still nope :P. Gotta say it's rather awkward in game atm it's like I'm a mute :P.
 
We now have grief prevention in the form of "zones". I'm not sure if everyone can create thier own zones or not. I've only made a zone around spawn. I'm pretty excited about it.
Maybe @DQuaN will give us some more info on this new plugin soon.
 
I bought the PS4 Edition yesterday and spent last night getting settled in. I've taken over a desert village to use as my stronghold and after some mining, I've got the majority of a full iron armor set.
It took me a little while to mine enough iron ore for strong enough tools and weapons, but I should now be able to last a while. I'll likely be returning to my mine later on today to dig for more materials after I craft more torches.

My new house is coming along nicely. Gonna need more smooth sandstone, stone, acacia and dark oak planks and other stuff though.
 
Wow, it's been a whole month since I last posted! I've actually been lurking around all this time, just too bored to post :P How's everyone doing?
 
Out of curiosity is there any community sort of area. Where we can build our houses together in a town like fashion? :)
 
Not really. There are a couple of houses outside spawn but that's it. The best way to do it is find some people and build together.
