Mini Challenge | GTP ORB | Season Over

EliteDreamer, I'll be sending you a friend request on PSN later. When are we looking at doing some testing, and when are we looking at getting the actual season underway?

Pre-season race this Sunday and the first race of the series starts the Sunday after. Which would be the 21st of August. Due to not having many drivers, and probably won't have a full grid anytime soon it would be best to do a pre-season. You know what I mean?
 
Is there an update on tuning specifications yet? The las thing I saw about it is that chassis reinforcement is prohibited and that the rest is pending.

I would also like to request an official statement with time an place of event. All I know so far is that there is a practice run on Sunday, August 14th. I'm not sure what time, but anytime would work for me.

Sounds good. I took a look at the tuning specs, and it looks pretty good - one question, though - do the '07 and '05 come out to similar PP? I'll probably test out later tonight myself. I was also thinking about how we don't have a full grid, and was wondering if allowing the driving line on would attract a few more drivers.
 
The '05 has slightly higher PP. By 2 actually. But the HP requirement should and might take care of that.

Hmm... driving line. I guess I should have allowed that if I'm saying "drivers of all skill levels are welcome." :P

Race time may be 5-7 PM GMT. I'd assume your maybe -7 GMT? So it would be 11 AM - 1 PM for you. Does that work for you?
 
We have 8 or 9 drivers at the moment. There is space for you. Put up your sign-up information, also you may start your own team or join someone's team.

My ID is HooperXD , i havent got a mini yet but ill buy it when im teamed up due to colour code and that if you could sort me out and put me in a team it will be great :) what is the uk time for this event ?
 
Yes. You may join my team. The colour is Leather Blue Metallic and we're driving the Mini Cooper '07.
 
Hey EliteDreamer, I actually won't be able to make it this Sunday, but I should be able to make it for the regular season races. I completely forgot that I'm supposed to be going with my fiancé to her grandparents' house this Sunday afternoon. I'm really sorry about that! I'll be around tomorrow, though, for any practice or testing anybody wants to do. In fact, after my Spec Viper ACR-X race is over tomorrow evening, I'll put up a practice room.

Actually, I just saw that the races are at 5PM GMT, which ends up being 1PM EDT on Sundays. I can't make that - that's when I get out of Church (same reason why I didn't join R1600Turbo's Spec CR-Z series). I can definitely make 7PM GMT, which is 3PM EDT, though. I think that's what I originally posted up anyway. Not sure if I'll be able to stay on as a race steward if we keep this time on Sundays. In the end, it's your series, so do what you think will work best.

I'm not sure how 7 PM works out for most drivers. I know at least 1 who can't do after seven. Sundays was just picked out as I was assuming to much goes on Saturdays. But all drivers who are in this, if you can drive on Saturday, or any weekday that would be great. Best to have the maximum amount of drivers as possible.

Thanks for understanding. I can do Saturdays, but this Saturday it would either have to be before 7PM GMT (3PM EDT) or after 10PM GMT (6PM EDT), because I'm running my own Spec Viper series that opens up qualifying at 7:30PM GMT (3:30 EDT) and starts at 8PM GMT (4PM EDT) and will go to 9:30PM GMT (5:30PM EDT) if everything starts off smoothly. After this Saturday, though, that time slot will be freed up because tomorrow is the last race for my Viper series.
 
I just need all drivers to respond. (I'll probably just PM them) I want all possible drivers in to race.

Also Ruta, what is EDT?
 
The only problem for me with racing on Saturdays is that my cousin's wedding is in two weeks so I won't be able to race that weekend.
