So. After 4-5 laps to get the feel of the car, I got a 47.024 :boggled: with the G27 yesterday. Started the game today to shave off those .024 to get the cash and stop this hotlapping. Today I didn't load the ghost and used the DS3 just because I'm more used to it, so it should be easy...;)

Hmmm...well...I've never failed any of the TT's with this tiny margin before. But if I succeed in beating my current ghost without getting the gold, I'm done with this one for good.

But I kind of like the car 👍 Turn 1 of this track on the other hand...🤬:banghead:

They could have done something mind-blowing, but they made this overweight lifestyle product called "MINI Clubman VGT". Sad! Here's my understeery lap, have fun:

I agree. There seem to be a lot of people here who are impressed and happy with the VGT. Personally, I don't see it. A couple of fairings tacked on to a clubman, sound that could have come from a number of other VGTs; speed, acceleration, and handling that is ... uninspired. I'm disappointed with this one.

PS. Before the low-comprehension-yet-eager-to-correct-a-subjective-opinion individuals come along, I'm not suggesting that people who are happy with the car are incorrect. It's a matter of personal opinion and prior expectation.

God I hate that first steep slope corner at Brands Hatch, always kills my time trying to get it right.

Not to mention the understeer.

0.200 late from #1 on first time... Loose many on the first left corner and the last... Amazing too see ghost of #1 flying... Nitro is activate

I went from 4th to 22nd in 2 days... the competition is very close in the new mini 👍 Great times being posted peeps

... must drag myself away from midfield and get back on this :P

What a pain to get gold, 47.24, few more red laps, then 47.14, regroup, 47.08, shut it off, restart later and then finally a 46.5 and park it. Funny ranking in 47,000s with a low silver time then 12,000s with the mid-46.

Yesterday managed to get into 44's club. 0:44.868, with room for improvement. This TT is appealing because even improving one mere thousand would lead to escalate 3 positions on the leaderboard, even in top50 places.

Also, I noticed that gold prize was closer to top times than usual, so obtaining it would be more rewarding than usual. The ones that are struggling with obtaining it, keep fighting!

Stuck at 46.266. I'd be happy to get a 45.999, but the understeer is just too much for me to compensate for on the DS3. I'll try some more, but I might have to settle.

I changed Oil and the gearbox max speed to 260kmh. My lsd is F-9/20/20 R-10/20/23. BB is 4/6. I dont know how to setup the rest of it. Alot of understeer, if someone knows how to fix it please :) feel free to tell

Soften the front suspension and tighten the rear a bit. Your goal is to create some oversteer to offset the understeer. How much you want is up to you. Test drive and tweak accordingly. In the process of doing this myself, although I am really not a fan of this car. It does drive like a Mini.

I need a T300 set up to trim more time. Stuck in the mid 46's. If I spend hours I'm sure I'd trim a few tenths more. But why. I'll wait until I'm stone cold bored out of my skull.

Or get the wheel set up. lol

It is not possible to tune the mini in this event. The discussion for Midfield is another thread.
