@Bergevontrips

I made for you and everybody else a video, where i drove first with TC 2 and afterwards with TC 0...
I hope that helps and it also shows the sector times to compare.

Afterall as an resume i have to say... It feel like it depends very much on the sector. Has it many Stop - and - Goes like the first sector in Maggiore...iam pretty sure with TC it can be faster. But like the fast Corners before the long straight arrives..the TC takes me a bit speed.
But overall i feel more together with the Car..I feel the (my) limit, and only then! - you can perform good and fast in my opinion and you will get faster AND consistent.

Here the Video...hope I could help and deliver, what you have asked for.

@MINKIHL do you have any idea which are the best settings for the thrustmaster t150 pro.
Im loving your setups just tweak them a little
Cheers for all your hard work and kindness for sharing

damn.

that's fast.

many many thanks first of all @MINKIHL !!! So as a test result I'd say, reducing TCS is not the main focus on gaining seconds, too much risk for little reward. Which car was this? I think I heard you change gears manually in one corner, you use shifting down also to control the braking, giving you a softer turn in correct? I guess I have to look into that (I have the shifter but also takes work to adjust. I guess I'll put shifting up on the left pedal on the wheel so I can shift down with the right hand on the stick and still shift up fast with the wheel at the same time out of corners.) -Clutch is a no factor correct?
Won my manufacturers there yesterday with the WRX but it ended up being as close as it gets (you here doc? very good driving thanks for your fairness!!)

I am now focusign on the Nissan GTR Gr.4 and trying the different tracks, however I have issues in setting the gears as per your guide on Yamagiwa.
When you say:

Top Speed: 240km/h
Final Gear: 3788
1. 2187 / 108
2. 1607 / 133
3. 1353 / 158
4. 1173 / 185
5. 1047 / 212
6. 0957 / 244

The different gear values you suggest are out of range for me. I normally setup the gear with this order: A) Top Speed, B) Final Gear, C) Individual gears (if needed).

If I do so, in this case the values of gears 1, 2, 3, 4 as per your setup, are out of range for me.
What am I doing wrong?[/QUOTE]

Hey Minkihl, I’m going to have to agree with @Zeitoss , up until yesterday I have been tuning with your setups with no problem, now all of a sudden it’s being... stubborn. With every car i try tuning, it’s either the 1st gear, or the 6th gear that does not want to cooperate after doing the transmission trick... Is it a bug? Is it patched? Quite frustrating as I have not had this issue until yesterday...

Thanks!

(My last post was ignored, so here’s my second attempt :D)

I also uploaded my training hotlap for the manufacture cup to youtube..maybe it helps other citroen drivers if needed...
Now..good night :)

Again i will share my hotlap for Interlagos for the manufacture cup...driven with the gr4 citroen during the chamoionship training...maybe it helps

Domink,

Thank you for your sharing. I am puzzled about one of your "Setup" numbers. Under BRAKE for instance you write "5" on the Beetle setup,
Does this mean + 5 units on the front/rear brake bias, or something else?

Thanks, Pete

what is the ferrari 458 "diva" di italia? the settings dont match my gr4 ferrari 458?

It stands gr4 on the setup.... dunno should work :/ maybe u got the wrong one because at nürburg there is another one or u have used the gr3 car..? i dont know

Do you always use rear brake bias and why?
Even in the sport mode races where the setups are fixed?

yes, only with the rsr iam driving with 0

simply because it feels, that it help diving to the apex, the only car where i feel comfortable that iamnot getting understeer when turning is with the porsche

Added gr3 Porsche RSR for Brands Hatch

Iam working atm that i create a youtube channel where i attach the videos to the setups..that the game is not nessessary for watching the setup hotlaps

Thanks, I figured it out later late last night. (Never seen a Beetle move that fast!?!?!
Cheers, Peter

I mean that I usually equate Beetles with DOGS, very slow Dogs, but your Beetle rocks! Had a lot of fun last night waxing all the cars on Lago in Professional Class.

That is my race car in Las Vegas with my daughter posing next to it. We used to run the Silver State Classic in that very modified SVT Cobra.

Cheers, Pete

PS. Thanks again for the great tunes!
