I just want someone to announce what the weather will be a few days before the race ;).
So everyone knows where they stand.

Now we got different weather types from different people ;).

@xkubunt something we need to look in to.

If it's light rain to heavy rain. Make 2 slots in the Lobby for Real Time. The time is 2pm for all Countries for the Races. So 2pm in the United Kingdom is 2pm. Whatever the Weather is, in the United Kingdom. Hope this clears things up. The double Point Races. The time will change. Cause the Race will end at night.
It looks more like it steady light rain now. The rain measurement is in mm and I didn't know how much rain was a lot in mm. A anonymous European resident has informed me that forecast would be light rain.

Just like the real world. No clue with weather till the day. Check it friday. See where the Weather stands then. I'd suggest you practice with rain for an hour

Do you guys think that if it's calling for rain it needs to stay wet the entire race to avoid having to pit? In other words no wet to dry. I know we had discussed it but not sure if we came to a conclusion. Hopefully soon the pit code will be solid and we can run the series the way we planned. I haven't even practiced in the rain yet!:nervous: YIKES!

If it's Raining to start. It'll be Raining all Race

I'd suggest light rain for the whole race, typical British summer if I'm honest. But it's more likely to be flicking between light rain and overcast so if pitting is working now I'd suggest light rain and cloudy on a forecast. Otherwise inters all the way!

@Simfan David i haven't actually tested the pits since 2.0 came out. Anyone had any luck with pitting?

I never had any problems with pitting even before 2.0. But it is fine now I think.

There have been pretty big issues with tyre pressures, wrong tyres, fuel when no fuel was requested or no fuel when fuel was requested. Just generally pretty damn buggy. I've found 2/5 seem to screw up.

There's been some issues with pitting. PRO-TOO's first race he pit due to damage and came out with rain tires. Wheels lose there ffb or just quit working all together. It can ruin someone's race. Pits are just glitchy. Hopefully they will get it fixed soon. It's happened to me a few times.

34% chance of rain on Sunday according to the forecast. Best practice with some light rain! ;)

Are we all using our own weather sites now? Not that it matters what site is used, but it would be nice to just use one so we can have some meaningful practice.

I've checked weather channel, BBC, Google and the site for the series and all are suggesting a reasonable percentage of rain.

It's better to be thorough!

@FIL140 I'm getting the BBQ on as we speak! I'm thinking that it's likely to be a dry & sunny race but let's be honest... This is England.

MyWeather doesn't actually state 14:00 so it's not going to be massively accurate. I would practice light rain however, just in case!

Everyone use Weather.com or the Link on the 1st Page. Whatever the Weather is for England on Sunday. So i suggest Practice in light Rain. Just so your ready for the change.

Might sound stupid , I don't care, ... What would be the best tires to use on Light rain conditions, intermediate or just wets ? Or is there an intermediate Tyre available on PCars or is the just anther game ...lol

There is an intermediate I think, but now you've said that I'm doubting myself. Best bet would be to give it a try though. Not sure when the inters become less effective and the wets take over.

I've used inters in career mode... on a dry track after a mandatory pit stop. They're not very good without water, shame my pit crew didn't realise.
