For those stuck in the box, the whole worst race dropped rule isn't there for when you have a bad race. It's there so you you don't get penalized for missing one race.

Made a bit cock up sorry for the time waste Just realised it Father's Day in the UK Sunday and can not make it doh

I don't agree with it, if you miss a race it's just bad luck, you get 0 points seems only fair, as what happens if in your worst race you finish 8th and mine I finish 3rd for example and as a result I would win championship, however you take the worst result out and you win that would be unfair.

How is it unfair? It's just like having one less race in the championship. Whoever is the most consistent still wins.

So over 5 races I win but you take the worst results out you win is fair? That's not fair at all, the whole point the championship is every race should count.

For your example to happen I would have to finish better than you in 3 out of the 5 races, so yes it's fair.

Whoever gets the most points through every race should be the champion, not whoever ever had best 7 out 8 races. You crash and stack it you should be punished not just be like just take that result out.

I will let that Poll go to 5pm est. I will not vote in it. Then the poll will decide to remove one bad Race or not.

I don't think we're on the same page. I agree the most consistent driver should win. However even with a dropped score the most consistent driver will still win. With our points system there isn't an advantage to having a dropped score of 0. If we had a more linear points system then yes a dropped score wouldn't be fair. If you win 3 and finish second 2 times you will have 146 points. If I finished first 2 times and second 2 times and then had a 0, I would have 114. You then drop a 25 and have 121 while I drop a zero and have 114, so you still win.

Ok well we both go into the last race even points or you on 1 more point we both have our worse race you crash finish last I finish 6th say and would be ahead you but that race doesn't count so you win? Am I correct? That's not a good thing at all.

No your not correct. If I crash and get last place points that means I would have to dominate the following races to be even with you going in to the last race. This is because I would be down let's say 30 points since I crashed and you didn't. For me to then be even with you I would have to make up those 30 points before the last race. To make up that many points I would have to win a lot. So again the most consistent driver still wins.

Don't think you read what I had put, if we both go into the LAST RACE on very equal points you just ahead then you get your worst race and so do I but my worst race is better than your worst race then you will win even though over the WHOLE SEASON I scored more points. The most consistent racer is the person that scores the most points through the whole season, not every race except the race they had a nightmare at.

I don't know how else to explain it. Just about every series I've ever been in has had some form of dropped scores and not once has a championship been decided by a dropped score.

Just had a look at weather for road America for Sunday looks great 1pm and 2pm light clouds then by 3pm full sun all way through untill night. :)
Thank God. Im glad its going to be a easy race. I just hope we can get through this first one without killing each other. lol
