I have a question with regards to weather for races? Pitstops are clearly still a issue for many people, so I take it if it's wet it will be a fixed wet or fixed dry etc, as if it starts changing weather you may force pitstops, which will cause pitstop errors. Kinda makes sense as the reason we ain't having pitstop is due to the problems with them.
 
Anyone going to have a practice lobby up tonight? I really need to work on my consistency and do some full race distance runs without binning it.
 
I don't see a problem with using pitstops for wet races. I think the races will be boring without them, but that's just me.

Whats so hard to understand? i think that mist of us want a sim-like race and that means changeable weather,full damage and failures,full rules, real life assists and PITSTOPS!, however, the pitstops are not 100% reliable so we cant use that feature.
Im not entering a race where from lights out im not sure if im wasting my time, id rather not bother at all, despite the fact that i really really want pitstops in.

Has someone testing going from wet to dry tire or dry tires to wet tires?

As I said my POV a few posts earlier:
Let's start small… we will learn this "brand new" game limitations, bla bla bla. But thats me ok?!

I really don't mind if starts to rain (awesome effect) after 40 minutes of racing and I face some bug! I don't!
I'll get frustrated and quit. Simple as that!
It's not me, it's human nature. Some people will just quit because they can't keep up front, now imagine what a bug can do!

So some of you want/need to go ALL IN, I'm with you! Let's rock with every possibility!
We're going to see DCs but who cares?! It's just a game right?!. It's good to race an empty looby anyways (less lag). :dunce:
Yes! I do love SIM and I want to race with all features in it like must of us do, but I also like the "precaution" side of things.

PS.: Congrats and thank you Stalliono! Organizing such event with so many different opinions (me included) might be a huge effort.

Im in it for the ride and experience. winning isn't at the top of my list just yet. I still need to get a feel for the competition. It should be a great turn out in the future. I cant wait!

The problem with the qualifying is your using a random car that we ain't even racing with, bit confused why a GT3 wasn't used. As now you have people in pro series that should be semi and semi pro people like bishop doing 2.04.8s on road America that should be in pro

Sometimes times really don't matter at an Endurance Race. With a good Tune, you can put up some good Times. It's all about how you Drive in the long Races. This Race isn't a Sprint Race. He may only be good at Sprint Races. I wish most would have went all out. The Qualifying is over. Nothing can be done now.
 
Well, if there´s a driver in semi-pro that´s miles faster than all the others and one driver in pro tier that´s miles slower then all the others why can´t you swap them?

If you all think 2 Drivers should be swapped. Give me the 2 Drivers to be swapped. I don't have control of the Spreadsheet.

Hang on am not having my team mate swapped, iv help him out with tuning and put the work in, that the hole point of teams is it not!

That is very true, if a good tune is worked out in the team and they have practiced enough there is no reason that an Am driver cannot get times that are better than some semi-pro times
 
You can't start swapping people around now just because they have put time in to practice same with my team mate he is low 2.05s on pad he will be faster when he gets wheel. You saying he has to change team aswell.

You can't swap drivers around just because there faster in gt3 than gt4s, the leagues will sort out as the seasons go by, as people get promoted and relegated.
 
Guys he is right. I was Tuning all day(well trying too) i'm high 08s to low 09s. With Zaks special tune i'm sure i can hit 06s.
