Yeah i haven't worded that. Thanks for reading it over. Lobby should open at 1:20pm est with Qualifying to Start at 1:30. Then the Race Starts at 2pm est. I think @xkubunt will be late Tomorrow. He'll have the Lobby open at or around 1:40 est. Be on around 1:15 to 1:30 in that Time frame.

You can host if you want, I thought qualifying started at 2pm EST and then race at 2:30.

I might be late for the same reason as @MrMattAdz

If im home with my wife n kids at 5:15 to get ready for 6' and then the race lobby doesn't open until 7' my wife n kids are gonna be pissed. So, if i say im gonna leave at 5:30 then ill be online for 6:15. Please dont start without me

I'm not going to be able to get on until 6:45 I think, I might be earlier though. So it may be worth someone else hosting if everyone has planned their day. It was pretty good with you hosting yesterday. I don't mind jumping in and qualifying with 15 minutes to go :)
 
So who's hosting AM now then? lucky number 3 :D

Only put yourself down as a host if you know your on time, i do realise that common sence isn't that common tho :D

Try increasing the deadzone in the settings. I use the right stick down for downshifts and was constantly blowing up engines due to double shifting.

I know what you mean, I can put in one good lap and do 20+ laps in practice but as soon as it's a race I screw it up so bad.
 
Just to be completely sure; are mechanical failures off for the Semi-Pro tier? I believe they are off, and it was also what people said yesterday, but the rules one the first page only mentions Pro and Am:

Alright guys, I'm set to be home at approx. 18:40 so should be online at 18:45. Apologies but spending time with my kid came first.

Is everyone OK with that for Am tier? If not Stalliono can host. I don't mind missing some of qualifying myself so that's ok.

Mechanical Failures are on for Semi and Pro. The Am Tier they're off. I blew my Engine again. Went from 2 to 4. I'll host Am Tier. Qualifying Starts at 1:30est. I still don't have some Am tier drivers on my friends list. It's on your to send friend requests.
 
I'm having an engine delivered today, but it's going to be later than planned now. The guy is due to be dropping it off at 5, but allowing for small delays and the unloading of it off the van I may not get back until 1730-18:00.

I hope this isn't an issue. It was supposed to be delivered this morning, but he's been held up. Typical.

There should be a 5min warmup between the quali and race so everyone can check race setups, go to toilet etc.

I dont think it would mate, just gotta make sure that the streamers have a good quality upload speed, and that there jitter, latency and ping are consistent and strong, it doeant have to be really fast although it would help.
I would also say the host of the room NOT to stream, and a maximum of only two streamers, per room.

On that note just a reminder if you are host a room, to make sure that know else in your household is kicking you internet connection out, ie streaming a movie, uploading heavy data, etc

Anyone streaming the semi tier race so i can forward the twitch link to my friends?! They want to have a look at how we do! :)

Just a thought..

If leaders are catching back markers towards the end of the race, I think flashing your lights to pre warn them you are approaching is a good and safe way to ensure they know you are there and for them not to start trying to defend position etc.

This is a good point, I've done it before when practicing with people and they haven't understood why I was flashing my lights. Same should go for qualifying etc.

I'll see if we can get it added to OP as a part of the racing ettiquete.

I also use it as a 'thanks' or 'sorry' when I've done something stupid.

No that's great for me, can I get a confirmation that this is definitely ok, I'd rather have room opening at 6:45 then I can leave my inlaws and have wife n kids in the car at 6:00 n home fo 6:30

I should be on just before 7pm (UK race start time) If its still the same unless the time has changed for the pro tier? So might miss some of the quail.

Actually scrap that I will be on at 6:30 👍 Is skankypuppy still hosting?

It is the most logical way to communicate with other drivers. Just wanted to be clear on it so people don't think people are randomly just flashing their lights at them.
