wow i just read that there is a green FTO lm ?? it's time to start collecting all the gold of 1A ... as for the impreza rally 96 .. you mean the car won in endurance? together with the corolla rally of the other endurance they are the only two cars that I have never had .. now that I know the way to rip multiple cars from a single race .. the trick of the "state refill" will also work for driving licenses right? I will recharge until they give me FTO green .. so does the impreza really have all those colors?

As far as I remember, the rally Impreza '96 as a prize for an endurance race available in blue and black. Blue rally Impreza '96 I got for some of the dirt races.

Download someones save file who has that car and trade it to yourself. You'll need a save file that's taken from this modded version of the game AFAIK.

Took the demo save and done the I-A (got the Green FTO 1st try) and most of the I-C (left first test "IC-1" for the easy one and couldn't quite get the Rome circuit done in time - if anyone dares, try to gold it) and maybe later I'll even try to do the I-B to get that red Del Sol..

Updated: I-B License done and red [R]Del Sol won.

Thus far:

Green [R]FTO LM Edition
Red [R]Del Sol LM Edition

These two prize cars should be at the end of the garage list on positions 78, 79.

Update 2: I-C License done as well

Green [R]FTO LM Edition
Red [R]Del Sol LM Edition
Yellow [R]GTO LM Edition

Also edited the the other GT2+ Save 2 regions, thus now all 3 regions, US & EU & JP should be the same

It's the demo save from the first post, as I cannot redo my own save's License tests because they're already passed all gold and the prize cars already won, (just not all in the colors I want) thus I have used the demo save with all the Kids Prize Licenses so I could do the licenses in any order, not needing to go through all again B > A > I-C > I-B > I-A > S..

So this is the demo save + the I-A passed all Gold and the green FTO LM prize car. You just need to load this as the 2nd memcard and then buy the FTO from it, then save your game on your own save as you normally would.

Ex.

Your save - memcard0.mcr
Demo save - memcard1.mcr (rename the one you downloaded from my post)

Start game > Load your own save (Slot 1) > Trade > Load (Slot 2) > Buy green FTO (last car in the garage list) > Save Game (in Slot 1) > Start game


It's how I did it myself and how I'll need to do for other License prize car colors should I want to (ex. the red Del Sol LM)

I did the fast save trick after the first endurance race. It was saved in the window with the results of the race, in the garage I found the Impreza and saved it to memcard 2. Then I pressed F3, repeated the steps and there was already a Nissan in the garage. Unfortunately, no matter how much I tried, I could not get an Impreza of a different color, only black.

Do you know why nothing works? It's just that the dude plays the PAL version, and You post the save for the US version, so his game doesn't see the save. It's elementary, Watson

It's not an advertised feature, but GT2+ saves are actually compatible across all three regions if you edit the region and disc codes to the correct one.

Other than that, it's probably worth starting a separate thread for strategies on how to win specific prize cars and/or emulator problems, as it's not really related to this mod - more of a general GT2 thing.

Now that I know this, I have edited EU and JP as well with the same prize cars (I've also completed the I-C now and got the yellow [R]GTO LM) Previews post updated with this new save

I was getting the same behavior on this race, only getting the blue Impreza instead.. never the black (good thing I didn't wanted the black one though)

I keep PAL and US versions of the game in the same emulator, and they are saved on the same memory card without overlapping and without seeing each other. Those guys have the same situation and hence the lack of understanding what the problem is, that's what I wanted to say.

You're really better off finding a buy any car code, that way you'll be able to buy any color you want. The rng sometimes is quite uncooperative,clearly. Personally especially in GT1 where i never got the red CRX or green FTO by legit means.

I will try slowly to do all A1 in gold .. then in the end I will reload the status until it appears green fto ,, anyway if someone finds a better solution ... the green fto code I have not found it

I can see you have not yet tried the last uploaded save, my posts have been edited since, all 3 regions should now have the 3 international licenses prize cars.
