Today, i got into FRAG_ME_CG's room, and everything was going fine. Until a track changed happened, and i voted random, because i didn't want to pick any specific track. I got called stupid and childish by one of DoriUnion team member.

I said that voting "random" in a drift lobby is useless... And you started: IF I want to vote random, I will vote random. I explained why voting random is useless in a drift lobby, and still you thought you were too important to acknowledge my reasoning.

Ok, i let that pass. Then, Chris left and the room got in hands of this specific DoriUnion member, who started to impose rules, such as: "Who votes random will get kicked!"

Yes, I imposed the rule that people who vote random, will get kicked... Frankly, I don't want to be transported to a Rally track, because people can't make a choice. If you can't make a choice... Don't vote. Simple.

Then fine again, i didn't vote random... and the circuit was Madrid... then the host, the DoriUnion member stated: "Sections, remember to use your maps. One warning then kick..." Ok, not a problem to me... i was drifting around the track, taking care to not spoil their section thing...

You voted for an Oval course, in a drift lobby. Which makes no sense, and is really childish, definitely after the explanation that a drift lobby needs a good track choice to be able to be drifted.

Then the host, tells me: Stay with the group, one warning.

Then i got like: What? I am not even on the road or ruining anything. And i kept doing what i was doing... after all, i don't have to do what someone tells me to.

You went against the group, stopped, didn't get hit (because of a lot of luck), and I asked you to stay with the group. You didn't, and drove off. What if everybody did that? Section drifting would be impossible. That's why I gave you your first warning.

Then, i waited the correct time to go, and got in the "section part", so i could pass before they start the runs again... i was about the finish of the section, they started a run backwards. Result? Accident and i got kicked.

Yeah, because frankly, you didn't listen, didn't stay with the pack, and ignored my TWO times: Person that is in the section, please turn around. TWICE missy!

Now i ask you guys, i used my map and waited the time to cross the section, i was already in it when they started the run... who really was wrong in this situation? The host, who apparently forgot it's own advice of looking the map, or me, who was just playing my game taking care to not spoil anyone else?

I told you twice to turn around. There were 8 cars waiting for you, and I told you to turn around to keep them going. Which would NOT be needed if you had just STAYED with the group like people asked you to.

Do i have to do everything a host in the room says? I don't think so...

Yes it can be drifted... besides, i did that on porpouse... nobody would vote in an Oval, so, why do you care? My vote and nothing would be the same, since it goes to the most voted track.

I didn't got hit because i parked in the correct place, which means out of the way, it was not luck.

You told me once to stay with the group, which i didn't want to, it is an option that i can have. You never told me to turn around, unless you said in a microphone, which i doubt you did.

I need help pickin a new drift car. Driftin my corvette most of the time I realized I need a lower hp drift car preferably between 400-600 hp. I need more grip, if you guys have a tune to make the corvette more "grippy" may I have it please or at least help me tune it.

You know there is a hp limiter right? Go to engine and decrease the % of HP until it's how you like it. Also try playing with the suspension (a little less stiff, lower, etc)

Buy other Corvette and re-tune it using same suspension/differential but less power. OR, remove the parts, like supercharge, exhausts, filters, chip, etc.

Edit: A stock Z06 has 505hp by standard... you don't have to add power in every drift car that you use.

Try building a car from stock and building it up slowly till you can drift comfortably with it. Try that

You don't have to add turbo in every single car you use! And it is not a de-tune, just a not tuned. It will keep a good torque curve and all.

Also another thing. Try to stay away from power limiter. I only use it a little bit on cars like the Vipers and the corvettes. Some of them do not need it.

For example I had a 1966 Shelby Cobra 427. I added stage one weight reduction (to make it transition faster) car wash and oil change (ONLY).

I had a semi-racing flywheel and LSD set at 5/5/5 and adjustable hight sports kit suspension (

) reason for the adjustable hight sports kit suspension was that it made the car feel really great and gave me a lot of information in the wheel.

Also the reason i didn't add the aftermarket clutch plates was that made the car shift slower with the aftermarket clutches.

Drive shaft made the RPMs drop too fast do I left it stock. You will be amazed at all of these parts that change some to major handling differences.
Also isn't seen in the pictures was the close ratio 5 speed transmission
That was the exact tune.

It wasn't the fastest car in the world but it was smooth and consistent. Give it a try you might like it. And it will help you see that adding every stage upgrade and every part may not be the best choice.

But do what I did try every little part on the next car you buy and see what it affects.

Some questions: You need less HP, because you are too fast or you can't control the wheel spin?

I'm against gaining grip for speed purposes. For control purposes, you may be right, but a Vette (with it's huge rear tires), doesn't need more grip than it has...
