Any chance on car changes I assumed that all cars were equal or close to BRZ is a dog 1 lap on the last track with the RX-7 and no tuning showed me at 51.3 I'd like to switch to that car

i allowed car changes prior to the start of the league, but since we have already begun , i cant allow you to change....im sorry
 
No worries man I figured as much I'll have to just catch you guys on the next series I'll actually drive all the cars next time lol
 
the BRZ isn't that bad... it just needs more tuning. what I want to know is how the top 3 guys went so long on tires and gas!

Should be a 4 pit stop strategy for every one this round. Fuel can last for 3 stops but tires are going to be almost undrivable for a 3 stop. Should be fun, respect race lines and positions, push hard, race will be over before you know it :)

Lemme guess your 1st stint lap times are... 49.2xx? Please don't say that's too slow.:nervous:
 
Lol as of now, yes best first stint is 49.2's :) 48's are without a doubt possible however. I havent had as much practice available to me as last week, hoping to dive into 48's for Q

However, it's hard to commit myself for all races and dates... Is it possible to participate only in some of the races? If yes, my car is a Autobacs GARAIYA GT300 Base Model '08, yellow color with yellow wheels, number 18 and my PSN is LA-Matrix.

I can confirm you are indeed clean, I remember the name from gt5 constantly racing gt500s as was I. ;). Edit: MLB, this might be a good chance to add a driver reserve list and put him on it, beings we most likely won't have 16 to start tomorrow. If you decide to, be sure to still give them race points. Wouldn't it be funny to have a reserve driver win the championship lol :P

Scary, I put another 500miles on my car on Saturday working my tune and I could only get to 50.4xx. I'm going to be online practicing tonight, I'd love for you to drop in so I can try and follow you around.

It will be very appreciated! I will try to participate in all races, but I have some business trips to do, and is difficult to bring with me my PS3 and my g27, lol

Cool. It took me a while to get fast with a wheel but it does help a lot with tuning and smoothness when you get use to it. Also building a cockpit helps immensely.

And I'm getting cable internet installed next Monday and dropping the DSL. So I probably won't be racing tomorrow but I will hopefully make all the races after that. When I would ping google with the DSL it would be a few in the 20ms-30ms range and then one out of nowhere in the +1000ms range. I've tried swapping out modems and direct wired into the modem and it still does it. When I talk to the DSL provider they all say "it's fine, must be on my end".
 
I'm still learning about my car reactions... It will be difficult to follow you guys, but I will try! I didn't get better then 51.1xx. See you tonight.

You should be fine. 51 is on pace with many of the drivers, plus its a long race,with the pits and traffic in consideration, there should be plenty of room for intense battles

Im just looking to get some clean racing in and don't mind if I'm running at the back. So that said, Id like to join in the BRZ if that's OK with you. Afterall, someone needs to represent the BRZ! 👍

Great race tonight guys! Grats again Parker. I've never had so much adrenaline in this game then the 1st 10 laps trying to keep up with outlaw.

For those of you having lockup/disconnect issues try this. And if you do most of your racing online, be sure to clear your GT6 cache on a regular basis. If you're still having issues then the best advice I can offer is keep your PS3 cool (ex. not in a closed cabinet.)
 
Great racing with you guys tonight. Shame about the drops/lockups for a couple of you. Especially with all the prep time you put into getting ready for the race. Hopefully the above tip helps you all out.

As for me, I really enjoyed that race even though I was a back-marker for most of the race. I needed (and planned) to go to a 5 pitstop strategy (every 16 laps) to keep the tires fresh for me as I would lose more time on worn tires than the time spent in the pits for the 5th stop. It was nice to see a clean race and plenty or respect given by all. Well done Parker on the win. Perhaps next week I can finish the race BEFORE the end timer runs out! See you all next week
