MODS PLEASE DELETE

So the first week i get disconnected, and the second week my ps3 freezes up on me.....what a way to start off a season.....oh well, there's always next week i guess.......and hopefully my new wheel will be here next Tuesday!!!

GOOD RACE GUYS!!!

Hey guys, how are you fndin gthe cars? are they performing equal even though you have dropped the PP to 500PP?
I am currently running a series like this (Stock cars and no mods but NOT PP limit to make up Tiers)
Finding the racing very close but the RX7 is a weapon on the striaghts!!!
We are two weeks into out series, we have been having alot on internet issues (who hasn't!?) but still be great fun. Check out my Videos :) and good luck :)

the cars are decently matched i guess, but the rx7 has the slight advantage...if it was based off of HP and weight, it would probably be closer

I took another snow day today so I decided to put together a recap of last nights race. Hope you all like it!

Parker has the pole for the second week in a row.

A good clean start.

As the field lines up behind Parker.

That's F_N_FRIED_17, Sofia3825, and Sedii battling, trying to keep up with GTP_ParkerMO125 early.

Here's me making my move on OuTLaW-240.
SuzukaCircuitEastCourse_12.jpg

And here's the view I'd like to show all of you someday.
SuzukaCircuitEastCourse_13.jpg

Just a few short laps later OuTLaw-240 is wanting his spot back.
SuzukaCircuitEastCourse_14.jpg

Meanwhile Sedii found a way around Parker and proves he's not invincible.
SuzukaCircuitEastCourse_15.jpg

Here Sedii tries to build a lead using lap traffic, but Parker is having nothing to do with it.
SuzukaCircuitEastCourse_16.jpg

After shuffling back to the front, we see an apparently comfortable Parker testing his wipers for next weeks race in the rain.
SuzukaCircuitEastCourse_19.jpg

After an unfortunate pit problem forces Sedii to run out of gas, we see Parker take the checker as the only one on the lead lap again.

Grats again Parker! And great racing from everyone! See you next week in the rain!

Thanks guys!

I just did some testing on Tsukuba, and I'm gonna recommend everyone practice there pit entries. It seems very picky about entry speed. 71mph is ok, 72 and it tosses you into the gravel on the other side of the track.

Thanks for the advices! Any reference time? In wet or dry conditions? I will put some miles on my Garaiya tonight, and I was just wondering how far I'm from you guys.

What do you mean? I won't be able to get back on for a few days. You mean like in terms of running off the narrow lane, or a glitch is happening?

I wouldn't call it a glitch. I'm pretty sure all tracks have a speed limit for pit lane where if you come in too fast it will just give you a drive through. Just on this track the entrance is so far back with no wall to hold your car in, it can just reject you as the ai won't be able to hold the line you've given them.

More like that is the thresh hold that the ai will be able to keep your car on that narrow path. At 72mph it just instantly shoots you back to the track (and beyond into the sand (who's going to be ready for that?).) Also if you try and enter late you will just get a pass through with no stop seemingly regardless of speed.

Ive sent my request to join as well. Im not going to challenge for any wins however I have the BRZ turning low 51's after just a few laps. Im just looking to get some clean racing in and don't mind if I'm running at the back. So that said, Id like to join in the BRZ if that's OK with you. Afterall, someone needs to represent the BRZ! 👍
phone error. Sorry

yea guys, ive known about the entry speed at tsukuba since i first got online with the game, i thought everyone knew that

Whats going to be interesting is the pit strategy and knowing when to pit for wets in the rain and hope the weather doesn't change in the opposite direction. What I would give for a crew chief looking at a weather radar during the race

very true

Has anyone done any practice races and actually had it keep raining? Every test I do I'm pitting by lap 5-6 for slicks, and never going back to wets.

Lol me too, in fact as of right now, I'm planning on qualifying on slicks, as to start on slicks.

When race starts surface water instantly and quickly makes its way to zero. And haven't seen any rain at all. I don't think the changing weather exactly works like we think, unfortunatly

Too risky for me, I can control the slicks up to about 25-30% surface water, but anything more and I'm checking out the nearest wall.
I think the weather change slider needs a lot of testing. 0 to 60 is it? It would help if the screen showed what percentage the weather is currently at (not just surface water). Cause the way it seems, is at setting 20 for example, might just be going from 0 weather, to 40, to 5, to 30, to 50, to 0, all without actually raining, and the surface quickly going to 0 from start of race. (these numbers I put are just guess references) but I do have a feeling with the current settings, we will have a dry tskuba

Or is it just going one number at a time? Race start 50 weather, changebility at 20. Is it just going from 50, to 49 48 47 46 47 46 47 48 47 (for example)

I did a full 90 laps race with 20 changeability. It's true that the track will dry quickly, but the rain will be back!

I have run 4 different sessions with the proper settings and on one instance, it actually went to 62 before going back down to the mid 20's for a bit then down to 0. I also had it go from 0 up to 38 before the race ended. the other times it went to 0 by lap 7-8 so it is random. The only think you can count on is the track during qualifying and the green flag will be at 50%.

I like how you put my your pass on me on blast Mirado_7! hahaha

I may have to miss or cut short tomorrows race.. my prego sister is coming over tomorrow and family to tell us the sex of her baby at 8pm which is like an hour into our race.

I wish she would have just told me today since she already knows and I saw her... hard to explain that I want to race and she needs to wait 30 extra min to come over haha.

hey guys , there is a slight possibility that i may not be able to host the race tonight...if i dont have a room open by 9:50pm eastern time, i want GTP_ParkerMO125 to set up the room lobby....i should be able to host though

Thanks for making the race fun to watch after my ps3 locked up. What a finish! Grats Sedii!
I am surprised how often everyone was pitting. Was I the only one planning only 3 stops with good weather?
