Had a practice session with Jamesy and ginge, and I am well off Jamesys 1:55s. I think tomorrows race is going to be mental though, as overtaking is going to be tricky, so the pole sitters will need to get away cleanly. With 10 on the grid so far I think it will be epic.

Well thats over a second faster than my best effort yet. If cobrius gets a mini, and the others sign up we nearly have a full grid, and with times ranging from 1.55s to 1.59s, the midfield is going to be very busy.

Im looking forward to it aswell, should be a good crack. There are another couple of racers yet to sign up, and if you can sort a mini for Cobrius thats 13 on the grid so far.

How on earth do we pass here?
The car is really narrow so it's not like a track width problem, it's just that, to run a fast lap you need all the track.
It should make for some really fun racing.

Sorry guys, the race kinda slipped my mind when i woke up

I wish I had double checked the GMT to EST in my head.
I stupidly coverted it to 4:00pm EDT, when it was really 3pm.
Almost missed it
Wish I had a chance to qualify for the race, I was running 55.4s could get that down to a 55.1 I think.
Anyway starting last was fun, got to battle different people.

When I missed the chicane, because I was "pushed" off line. I was going to give the spots back but coming out, you guy were right on my bumper, I couldn't stop and not cause a pile-up. I did give the spots back.

On the last lap I caught WARRIUSZERO and tried to race him for 3rd, he did a great job keeping me behind him.

Overall a great race.

The SPEC race was TVRs on SM. I almost only use SH or SS so I was missing apexes all over the place, I kept forgetting it was SM and not SS or SH. GEORDIE139 put up a great race for 1st, the battle lasted for quite a bit before I think he clipped the grass at some point.

Then it was a Time trial for me to try and get a sub 37 lap, I couldn't get it as my tires falloff on lap 7 ish.

Great race again.

Hope to run with you guys again sometime in the coopers 👍

Geordie was in contention until he hit some invisible cars that were parked on the grid. I have watched the replay, and at the start of lap 3, he definatly does hit something on the grid that isnt there.

Carracer and Geoerdie were very close, until Geordie touched the grass. Carracer finished 25 seconds ahead of Geordie, however Geordie did set the fastest lap, with a 136.9.

Thanks to eveyone who took part in this event. It was just a stand in event while the Core Trident race series takes a break. Core is back next week, but who knows, Mini Madness may well return some day

On Trial Mountain I was really confused. One of my favourite cars and favourite track, and still I was lapping at 1.44's. I tried a few laps after the race and was doing 1.38's. I think it was my first experience of this bug.

I watched the replay and compared the times on my lap with a real clock, and yes the gameclock was a lot faster. Comparing with the guys in the lead the clock was right. Has this ever happened to any of you? I've noticed a lot of racing series are postponed because of this bug.

Anyway thanks ade for planning and hosting this.

Edit: I couldn't see Geordie at all on Monaco, in my race we were 8 cars. Oh and thanks for the car both Geordie and Warrius.

That sounds like the bug.....

I have heard of this bug aswell, and I think that I read a post on here that has something to do with using a wheel. I think that it must have an effect on my driving all the time.

DS3 and wheel users alike can get it. Seems to happen more often with wheel users.
I have had the bug with my wheel and DS3.
