If only they had made a F657/F, F867/C and F878/A as well...
Sigh.
I don't see what was wrong with the older fictional F1 cars. They were replaced by the Formula GT which was fictional also. Weird. The 80's turbo F1s were some of the most fun cars in GT3 for me. The sound wasn't that bad either.
Maserati 250F, Lotus 49 and Lotus 79.
Good choices.
rallymortenI think that's stuff for a petition
I would love to see:
F850/F (Alfa Romeo)
F251/A (Ferrari)
F855/M (Mercedes)
F865/S (BRM)
F873/S (Tyrell)
F876/S (Tyrell [six-wheeler ])
F278/L (Brabham [fan car ])
F880/J (Williams)
F894/S (Benetton)
F002/S (Ferrari)
F005/A (Renault)
F807/H (McLaren)
F808/H (McLaren)
F809/B (Brawn)
F810/V (Red Bull)
F811/V (Red Bull)
Among others
More vintage open wheel cars. With vintage tires please.
dr_slumpI want some of the old turbo charged F1 cars from the 70s and 80s.
Benetton-BMW '86 (1350Hp) as example......
Any of the cars from '86 are monsters
That's a myththat BMW had up to 1600bhp in qualifying
That's a myth
Mate, the 86 Benetton has the 1.5l straight 4 engine, but no, it has only 1 turbo and is therefore not a twin turbo. BMW has never built one with twin turbos. If you mean the Megatron engines....no, they didn't have that much power because they had a boost maximum of 4 bars due to regulations.i'm talking about the 1.5L streight 4 engine. Twin Turbo of corse. Take a look on the web.

Check this wonderful site: http://www.gurneyflap.com/bmwturbof1engine.html
(fyi, the dyno run was done with "only" 3.30bar boost and he didn't rev it to the max.... (they set it at 11'000rpm for races and about 12'000 for qualify, but I'm not too sure about the last number.)

Yes, it says 1981, but BMW did never change the concept.
Where is this crap forum, destroy them!!I heard about another GT forum where people were always asking for B-Spec seasonal events, and that is the forum PD see, why don't we find it, register, and spam this?

FurinkazenYes, but only if they alter physics so its more realistic.
Grand PrixHeck, why limit it to fictional F1? Could add:
GP835/N (Alfa Romeo P3)
GP636/R (Auto Union C)
GP837/C (Mercedes-Benz W125)
that BMW had up to 1100-1300bhp in qualifying
I too want the GT3 F1 cars to return, especially if they could include both NTSC and PAL versions. I only had the PAL version, so I only had the Polyphony 001/002 cars. Don't care if they have to make fictional or replica cars, I just want a larger variety of F1 cars
ZedMan1996Plus I want them soo bad that I don't care if they don't make it in premium.
Hopefully they do away with standards altogether
Well sure, we hope to not see a large amount of standards. But these are cars that we wouldnt care about if they didnt become premium, we just want to see them again.
No, Ford Cosworth had only the DFV V8 3.0l and the DFY V8 3.0l engines.I think the one i'm thinking of might be a ford cosworth
Bring these back from GT3! And I dont care if they wont make it in premium!
I've been saying this for a long time. It would make me supremely happy.
I'm seriously considering buying a PS2 just to try these cars out again. it's been a while. I can only imagine how much fun they would be with GT5s physics.
It's really dissapointing actually that they didn't bring those back.
I also really want the Lotus 49. It's such a great sim car. It's coming to iracing, project cars, and most importantly it's coming to Assetto Corsa which is likely to be the most realistic sim to date by far

BMW and Hart were the only ones who ever built a inline-4 f1 turbo engine.
This is the Hart 415T 1.5 S4 engine. (again, only 1 turbo)
Not as good as the BMW M12/13 though (the hart 415T was actually one of the worst).
Well, this is the M12/13 I showed you before.1983 F1 BMW 1.5Litre 1600bhp (only once in qualifying)
