Aqua - Barbie Girl (but the video ain't too bad :sly: )

Red Nex - Cotton Eye Joe (possibly the worst song ever - no redeeming features whosoever)

Billy Joel - River of Dreams (the backing singers sing "In the middle of the..., I go walkin' in the..." over and over again, without ever finishing either phrase!!... it makes me want to book a flight over to the US, track them down individually, and smack them in the face with a wet kipper each... )

Solid Lifters
but I'm no big BJ fan, either.
Now I never thought I'd hear you saying that...

Its amazing what gets posted in this forum sometimes...

See, I used to like Petty, but after listening to him for a few years, his songs all just sort of mushed together into one for me. Now I'm not going to say he's as bad as the other "musicians" that I mentioned in my post, but I don't think he's as talented as most people say he is.

Plus his voice makes me want to cram pencils in my ears. It's all personal taste when it comes to music, but you tell me, what's so great about Tom Petty?

I'll also add "Friends in Low Places" by whatever trendy country musician plays it. Whenever it came on the radio the other day I actually changed the station and listened to "Gold Digger" by Kanye West, and that's saying a lot.

Aerosmith- Pink.

"Pink, it's like red but not quite..."

Doesn't take a genius...

I'm having trouble deciding which:

666 - Alarma
Whigfield - Saturday night ...da ba da dan dee dee dee da, nee na na na, be my baby. :ouch:
Sean Paul - Shake that thing

Carl.

Right there with ya.:irked:

But you've got that tune in my head now.

:odd: Fall out boy... All of it.

There is no way I argue with this statement.

But I think that new Nelly song Grillz is pretty damn bad. I mean it was ok at first but now I hear it 10 times a day.

Nothing is worse than Nickelback - Photograph. The only songs that come close to being as annoying are any other Nickelback songs.

Runner-ups to Nickelback would be:
Bob Sinclair - Love Generation
Youth Group - Forever Young

I swear I hear those songs at work and on the radio a total of ten times a day. I am incredibly tired of both songs, and they will be the death of me.

I second that, and the worst part is, I live in Canada and have to listen to them every other song on the radio! :yuck:

To the OOOOaassis!

I had to hear every country drinking song ever made when I worked at a steakhouse for a while - not fun.

And Tim McGraw really can't sing. I know he makes good pop songs and that's what matters when selling records, but the guy has a sub-par voice. I'd like to hear him sing a song straight without any digital studio enhancement or anything.

Although I rarely expose myself to it, most country music these days makes me want to go on a killing spree, it's just really cheesy rock...with a southern twang, wow! If only all country "musicians" were as good as Charlie Daniels or Johnny Cash.

My sister has that CD, and yes, every single song is that annoying. Sometimes I envy the deaf.

Touring Mars

I know this is isn't the most important topic, but me and my sis got talking about this song earlier.. We both concluded that within 2 years someone will cover it or that Chicken guy from xfactor will release it :indiff:

Pretty much anything new age "punk"....some people might like them but their voices make my brain itch.

Thank You!!! 👍 , I stick with my "old school rock", anything before 1998

Rap is mostly terrible. I hate almost all of it.
And the Black Eyed Peas... Someone shoot me!
I like Sixties music. Especially The Beatles.

I might add any song from the Emo genre to this list.

It would have to be the only style of music that makes me laugh and vomit at the same time.

There are so many, but Guns N' Roses' "Paradise City" is a real standout...

WHAATTTTT???????????...DUDE!! YOU MUST BE C.R.A.Z.Y.!!!! , Paradise City is a Hell of a song, just the way slash and Izzy start the heavy part after the intro is A Classic head banger

It's all a matter of what people like, some just don't like the G'n'R style. I don't hold anything against them. The only music you aren't allowed to like is the Emo genre...but that isn't real music, it's complaining with a gutiar.

James Blunt, You're Beautiful

Every single time I hear this song I just grind my teeth so badly and cringe at the fact that a chorus of 'You're beautiful, it's true' can make a popular song.

LOL! How open minded and insightful, I love when people try to **** on an entire genre of music. Believe it or not, there is good emo music. It's true that most of it is garbage, but there are some good bands in the genre. Bands like Thursday, At The Drive-In, Thrice...etc. actually play some pretty hard, melodic music that isn't whiney, about girls or relationships, or anything of the sort, it's just talented musicians. Of course everybody is so quick to dismiss the entire genre or music.

Ugh I'm not a Thursday fan at all, some may like it but it's not for me.

But with emo, new punk, hell a lot of new music in my mind isn't very good. Sure there are songs here and there I enjoy, but for the most part I'm not a huge fan of music from say 1995 onward. I'll stick to my 80's rock/metal, and eariler rock'n'roll. But different strokes for different folks I guess.
