Anything popular, its that simple!

I second that, unless it's country

Barbie Girl - Aqua

in fact, it's stuck in my head!

GET OUT!!!

From,

The Cha Cha Slide does my head in. I don't like being told what to do.

Eric Pridez - Call on Me

The video is sweet the song is annoying as ****

Crazy - Gnarls Barkley

I actually like this song at first but it's so damn annoying it get's played like every 30 mins where I live, be it radio or TV. Overplayed MUCH?!?!?!

Anyone rember Doop by Doop?

It had such catchy lyrics as "Doop doop, doop doop, doopy doop, doop doop"

repeat that line about 25 times and there you have it. Possibly the most annoying and pointless "song" ever written.

I had nightmares for a while, when I was a kid, after going through that ride 3 times with my nephew... All those creapy animatronic children swaying back and forth, always singing.... Always... *shudders*
;)

9 times.
In a row.

Thanks to my sister with the help of Disney I developed a nervous twitch at a very early age. Any time I hear a melody that remotely resembles that I lose all reasoning skills and have been known to horrifically annihilate porcelin figures and send small children flying into the air.

BTW, those arent animatronic. They are genetically modified slaves. Whatever you do, dont look into those eyes.

:nervous:

This song fits the same category that involves worst song ever in history. No song makes me shut the radio off faster than this song. The end just kills me... over and over again..."dooo da doo da doooo.....waahaahaha" :ouch::ill: 👎
Pearl Jam: Black

"Hey Hey You You I don't"....errr damn it now you guys have it stuck in my head...I hate you all.

Avril Lavigne - Girlfriend, anyone?

I've only heard it about three times, and it's not that annoying... although I can understand you if it's on all the time.

The one I can't stand anymore is Queen - Bohemian Rhapsody... and in general, any song that gets extended airplay for more than 3 weeks.

Any song written in this century.

Hmmm.... given that ladylike was written in this century, I'm going to have to go ahead and disagree with you.

This song rocks^

I know this thread is about songs that suck. But after reading enough "rock sucks" and "all recent music sucks" posts, I felt the need to point out that there is still really good music being made.

Edit: Plus a statement like "anything from this century sucks" ignores so many different genres of music. I think the only way you can make that statement is if you don't listen to much music.

The video clip is just has annoying has the song, plus, it is always playing on the radio, and the video clip, on television…

Mika - Grace Kelly

Not too much annoying, but it is annoying when the radio station plays it like 30 times a day, the new song by Kid Rock, uh, I think its called So Hot.
Ii'm starting to like the song, but I don't want to hear it like a million times a day.

Not quite the right thread, but better than making a new one for relatively trivial thing...

Something very weird happened last night - I had just drifted off to sleep, with my iPod playing as it usually does, despite the fact that the music was not my usual "falling asleep" playlist and contained tracks such as "London Calling" by the Clash, and "Dazed and Confused" by Led Zeppelin. However, I woke with a start some time later - the reason? I used to use the introduction to the song as a ringtone on my phone (which doubles up as my alarm clock in the morning). Considering that I had slept through Zeppelin and The Clash, this is the only reason I could find for waking up when this song started - that my brain subconsciously recognised the sound as my phone ringing, and woke me up instantly!... the amusing bit is the name of the song, which is called "Awaken". Unfortunately, it is one of my favourite songs (by Yes), and now I fear I have ruined it forever by using it as a ringtone!

I hate when you accidentally over-listen to something, it can really ruin great songs. Suppose it's the same as having a great song overplayed on the TV or radio.

Annoying songs? Anything by Akon - that man just can't sing, at all. His voice is always digitised (because he's obviously got a crap voice in the first place), but they've managed to make it even worse by over-digitising it. I'm sure it's to "add" to the song but it just highlights how awful the music is.

Agree with Sureshot on Kate Nash, and agree with My Humps suggested further up also. To be honest, most songs suggested in this thread are annoying, so whilst everyone has different tastes in music they find good, it shows that most people have the same opinions on songs that are really, really bad.

Oh, except for the people who think that there's no such thing as good music any more or that anything commercial sucks. Comments like that always strike me as people trying to be cool and alternative. So what if a song is popular? They're probably the kind of annoying git who only ever likes the first, unpopular album by any given artist because after that "they became too commercial" or their music "changed too much".
