most beautiful four door sedan

I just can't! I tried to come up with my choice again, but still no luck. M5(whatever the last gen was), is beautiful, but not enough to call it the "most beautiful". I grew up admiring Toyota Crown(think Japanese Lexus LS400), so everytime I see a picture of one, I get a warm feeling, but still not the most beautiful. I will keep on trying though. I LOVE sedans. Huge fan.

What do you think?*

*The above is the opinion of the user. The question asked was your opinion on most beautiful sedan ever. This poster believes this car is the most beautiful sedan, ever. Not the fastest, or the best handling, or the one that gets the best gas mileage. Don't start a damn flame war over it.

My dad had a White '61 Lincoln Continental Convertible when I was 5. That thing was so cool!

Ghost: Nice! I've always had a soft spot for that Caddy of yours, It's very tastefully done. 👍

Diplomatic Ghost C?👍 I know how you feel. My first car, '85 Maxima is one of the cars on the top of my "most beautiful sedan" list. I might be bit biased, but I'm not sure. :P

That reminds me, I'm going to have to edit my choice. I was going for more newer models...but to me my Maximas (yea I owned 2 at once) will always be the most beautiful saloon car to me. My '95 SE black on black was so beautiful--broke my heart when it was totalled. :( I gave my '96 GLE black on black to my mom because she needed a car.

Here's what my '95 SE looked like after I installed the white out lenses and front grille--but without a license plate:

Good god that's such a beautiful car.

Way too biased :sly:

I'm with you, ND4SPD; I love the '60s Cadillac and Lincolns. Although I'd love to have it in all sorts of different colors

Oh yeah! I love that thing!
Dont forget to mention the Chevy Caprice classic and Impala SS!
Real American muscle :)
And the Caddies--the Buick Roadmaster...

Oh and last and definately not the least.
1964 Lincoln Continental. Although I'd love to have a '63 Limo Just like JFK's.

These look great! I've never really looked at these properly before, but I REALLY think they look badass, and wonderfully clean for an American car!

No it is not all stock. From what I can see it has aftermarket rims and tyres, and I think its lowered.
The exterior also looks unusually clean...
But it looks gangsta, I want one.

EDIT: No one saw that its outside a Rod & Custom building thing?

No, stock as in, restored to its original, factory specs and paint color. I don't think so either.

I'd like to nominate the FPV GT in the game as one of the most beautiful sedans ever too. That car is mean!

High-Test

I have to be. It seems any time I post something on GTP without a disclaimer a huge argument starts for no reason.

My vote for #1 is the E39 BMW M5, of course:

...I also give props to its copy-cat twin, the JZX100 Toyota Mark II Chaser

The Altezza is also a nice one:

I'm going to go with one of my favorite sedans of all time. Lexus LS. I love these cars, in-and-out.

I like the original LS400 the best, but I couldn't find a very good pic of it.

Isn't that the Crown as you mentioned a few posts back?

I'm not too knowledgeable about Japanese cars....sorry....

I'd love to have the one-gen before E39 M5.

It is? Maybe on the newer ones, because the one I really like, the original LS400, that was a Toyota Celsior in Japan. Even Celsior, I always thought that car should be the Crown. It has the look.

1970 Ford Torino 302 4-door sedan gets my vote.

Edit, this one is a convertable though, my dads isn't:

From,
The Wall.......Runner!

The only problem I have with the new Übaru Impreza is the fact that the tail-lights, which have been getting progressively worse since 2001, have reached an all new height in ugly. I think the front looks slick (though I would still take a new Legacy based on looks alone).

I'm not crazy about the '06 Impreza's roof-spoiler, but I too like the front end. 👍

Still, the Spec C is the king of Imprezas (IMHO).

Do you guys know that Subaru will be dropping the massive rear spoiler for a smaller lip spoiler next year?

They will? Thats good to hear.
And speaking of Legacies (which I am one of), I have something else to add:

2006

Subaru

Legacy

Spec.B

And the Impreza spec C isnt king, the Subaru Impreza WRX STi Type RA Spec C is. Oh, wait... that IS the spec C :dunce:
