1991 Ford Crown Victoria/Mercury Grand Marquis, I love those cars, my first V-8 RWD experience.

E28 BMW 5 Series
E30 BMW 3 Series
E90 BMW 3 Series
Infiniti M35/45 (newest gen)
Infiniti Q45 (the older ones, like the mid/late 90's models)
Lexus LS400 (when they were boxy they were nice looking)
Toyota Chaser (gotta love a chaser)
2000 Crown Victoria PI
2005 Mercury Marauder
1996 Impala SS (that was the last RWD year, wasn't it?)

I know it seems odd, but I think the 300C and Charger look great, they remind me of big muscular guys, in a tuxedo (300C) and a t-shirt (Charger).

The only Merc I've ever seen that I would call beautiful is the CLS, it really is a work of automotive art.

You should have set up a form for people to fill out, then, and required that all posts follow the format of that form.

And "some of who have no place in this thread" is inapplicable -- you asked for opinions, and not all of those opinions are going to be ones that you agree with.

i went back and checked my original post. nowhere did it say anything about a commision of sedans or a united nations of saloons. in fact the "question" is in the thread title; most beautiful four door sedan.

"some of who have no place in this thread" was in reference to the fourth and fifth choices that people posted. you can only have one, or two, possibly three most beautiful sedans. if its more than that then there is no real most beautiful, but a comittee of "i think these are most beautiful."

greatest in number would be the definition we are looking for here. there can only be one with the "greatest" beauty in each's eyes. but since beauty is so subjective i myself posted two. more than that is no longer the greatest its top ten. or three. or whatever. thats not what was asked for.
