wat about deep forest coming on 2 the first straight and u have a cliff on ur left side and it wont take much to run though that if u come out of the corner unsteedy

holdenluva001, you mean coming off the last corner onto the front straight? (deep forest reverse?)

Around the back side of the track there is that flickish left just before you go up the hill towards that "yet another" tunnel. Nothing but rocks, I'd rather lose the rear and back it in than understeer straight for it!

But Laguna's a real track. I wouldn't say its that dangerous. I've been to Laguna personally and the corkscrew is made to look more dangerous on the game then it is in real life
Bikes and cars crash at Laguna every weekend, Especially during the main events and quaifying, I'm 20 minutes away!

I live in Big Sur for the summer, To live near the beach is nice but Not Friday through Sunday, Traffic for the events hurts the neighborhood, Big Time! Campers Suv's and Trailers everywhere...:-(

Citta di Aria (SP?) is IMO the most dangerous track, hidden walls everywhere and extremely dangerous driving a F1 car without any wings.

However, Midfield reverse is also very dangerous, after the finish theres a uphill-s-turn section to the tunnel, faster cars will fly over that uphill section right into the grass and into the tunnel. I killed my A-spec driver that way.:indiff:

some corners on the nurb have some runoff space while others just greet you with steel fence , and those blind corners.....

but still , I've come to the conclusion that nothing could be worse than flying into the grand canyon:lol:  weeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

That should be fun. Only you'd need some car with an upside-down spoiler. Or, better yet, the Mercedes CLR. You could also take it to El Capitan, fly down the hills and join the Yosemite Rallys...

Citta D'Aria Reverse. Blasting through the section right after the start/finish after building up so much speed to begin with. It requires either true bravery or sheer stupidity.

Grand Canyon comes to mind, with sheer cliffs in many sections. In reality, I know that rally courses like that actually exist. For example:

I think High Speed Ring would be somewhat dangerous as well. There are some very long straights, so you'll see certain cars hitting 200mph+, but there are also some deceptively sharp corners.

i agree. one slip off the grand canyon and you either kill spectators or yourself and car or both

I would say that Cote de Azure, Citta di Aria and Seattle are the most dangerous if they were real life tracks.

Cote de Azure is a real track. Holds the Monaco Grand Prix, which is always an awesome race

Ooh, a year-old thread!!!

Cote de Azure IS a real-life track, they have this Grand Prix there every year in May. It's Monaco. They just can't call it that in the game. Shhhhh.

Dang! tree'd by 30 seconds, maybe.

Citta D'Aria Reverse. Blasting through the section right after the start/finish after building up so much speed to begin with. It requires either true bravery or sheer stupidity.

a yeah...deffinitly...i always hit the damn walls and lost a lot of time, or go too slow and i lost a lot of time anyway..this has to be the most dangerous track in gt4. And i hate it just like that...

And i don't find Seattle so dangerous, well aside of the jumps..

I've watched wrc. I've watched pikes peak itself on tv sometimes. I have never seen something so scary before. Such a low margin for error at those speeds.

Here's another clip of Ari Vatanen. Notice the Terry Harryman's "Dear God" somewhere around 1:38.

That's what I call driving... not to mention the famous "Climb Dance" driven by the same man. Google will undoubteldly find it, I don't have a link at hand.

EDIT - I do.

Nürburgring is undoubtedly the most dangerous track in the game but as the thread is about the original tracks I have to vote for El Capitan. You could crash into a river, fly off a cliff, integrate your car into a good solid piece of rock...

Ari Vatanen is almost god like! How did he manage to tame such a beast. He could very well be one of the greatest rally driver of all time.Even the most talented of the current rally drivers could not be compared with him.Only thing is,who is crazier (in terms of rallying) Ari Vatanen or Rod Millen?

If i were navigating to Ari i would also say Dear God :scared: but also soil my pants!! , WRC drivers and more amazing were the group B drivers for taming those snorting spitting turbo fed monsters, no wonder they had to shut it down, crazy but at the same time awe inspiring stuff.

Citta di Aria and George V Paris.
Citta di Aria has parts that pop up that you can hit, like an arch popping out of an alley, and it has a ton of blind coners and twists.
George V Paris has the layout of straightaway, corner, straightaway, corner, etc. If you don't pay attention you'll end up in a wall.

I agree with all of yous especially on New York. No warnings except the distance until the corner. I would also like to mention that the Special Stage Route 5 and Clubman Stage Route 5's first corner could be deadly. There is a steep descent towards the long curve which would be hardly visible when you are heading towards it.

Trial Mountain would be dangerous, with the straight but hilly portion. and the complicated sheer-cliff-if-you-make-a-mistake-you-will-die,the same place where the damn monkey lives. if trial mountain was really made, the damn monkey would poo on everybody.and as a hint, there is a huge branch that sticks out over the track. where the monkey lives.

Sarthe I and II. it is the worst course because of uneven road surface. Rest is ok. It can keep the adrenaline on very high level.
