There are a couple of turns that come to mind that I can get right sometimes, but for some reason, I can't be consistent in nailing them.

One of my toughest is the right turn at Suzuka that comes right after the esses. It's not sharp at all, maybe 45 degrees, but I have a hard time judging the correct amount of braking.
My other one is the right turn at the top of the hill, at Willow Springs Big Willow, when you start going down hill. I think that one is because I can't really see the corner exit when it's time to get back to the throttle.

Which turns give you guys the most trouble?

Update. After day 1 of this thread, I think Brands definitely has the most mentions. If you have hate in your heart, let it out.

The S turns at Dragon Trail. For me it's actually harder than the bus stop because there I have a "hotlap" line and a "racing" line that I can switch to depending on the situation. On the S section not only do I have a single line through there, getting it consistently is a very difficult challenge

Degner 1 and 2 at Suzuka. You have a very tiny margin of error through there it's thrilling

The long right hander at Tokyo Central before the next right hander that leads to the tunnel. It's a blind corner that basically requires you to trust yourself and turn in before you can even see the turn

Lastly the banked right hander at Lago Maggiore. I don't know why but I just keep losing time there. My original line is to carry gobs and gobs of speed into the corner but somehow I'm 2/10ths down instantly from my opponents just because of that- exit speed maybe. Now I'm doing a slow in fast out approach, but I'm still not as fast as my opponents through there

Paddock hill bend (turn 1) at Brands is always tricky for me, and I understeer then spin on the gravel there a lot.

Turn 5 at Maggiore has so many possible lines, and I still can never seem to choose the right one.

On Blue Moon Speedway's longer road corse, I often mess up. I go terribly wide on turn 1 then later in the lap go into the grass on that double apex (the corner before last) then miss the apex and hit the wall on the final turn. It's my worst performing track in the game by far.

I must have an odd driving style, because I love all of Brands and the Degners at Suzuka.

For some reason, I can never get a good line through the chicane at Suzuka. I'm always losing time there and it leaves me vulnerable on the straight.

Turn 1 at Nurb GP is another I mess up all the time, especially in traffic, since it can be hard to see my braking point. Maybe I need to stop using bumper cam.

The whole Brands Hatch track, I absolutely hate that track, never had good flow in my opinion.

I'm the opposite, I adore Brands GP. That sequence of right handers after pilgrims drop is awesome (but so easy to miss an apex). Might be biased given the fact I go there so often ;)

The UK tracks I hate are Snetterton and Cadwell Park (though not related to this game).

Personally, Degner 2 and the hairpin at Suzuka are tricky along with the section of the Nordschliefe at Hohe Acht. I am not a fan of Bathurst either, just cannot get it hooked up at all.

I would say the first turn at Suzuka is one of the most challenging as we race it all the time and still I get it wrong. Either wrong line and run out wide, or simply brake too much and lose a few tenths before I have really even started the lap.

Also the speed you can carry into the first part is incredible in the Gr2 cars. I remember being amazed by how late the best drivers braked and still somehow made the corner.

That banked right-hander at Maggiore has little to no limits. You can cut it really low.

I really struggle with consistency in the s-turns on DT Seaside and the half hexagon set of turns at DT Gardens. The wierd thing is they are two of my favorite tracks. Also taking those turns 10 deferent ways in 10 laps usually doesn't effect my laptimes much..

I would have to agree with the Brands hatch nomination. I hate it, but im surprisingly good there. The Dragon trail bus stop gets me more often than I would care to remember.

For me the left handers after Griffin's on Bathurst, leading to Quarry is where I manage to spin out quite a few times. Really one of my worst nightmares, even though Panorama is one of my favorites tracks.

Brands, Suzuka and Panorama are my favorites.

The hardest turn I've seen is turn 1 at Blue moon. While it's generally easy to go around it, getting around fast is a different story. Personally, I've found the best line is to brake at the 200 meter mark then go through about half up to keep a little bit extra speed... Although if you go in too fast and bump that outside wall, that's a sure fire 5-8 second penalty (great if you don't mess up, terrible if you do)

Agree with the Turn 1 on Brands Hatch.

I would say I'm probably the only person in the world with issues on gentle bends after a long straight... I think to get brain fade or whatever you might call it on the slight right hander after Conrod Straight at Bathurst.... or the gentle left hander after the straight at Nurburgring.

The problem is that if you mess it up its a big time high speed accident. Further these corners are at the end of a lap so your onus is to keep it clean for a good lap time.

the suzuka turn, do you mean after you get up the hill and do the long sweeping left in to the double right? the first right you cut a little with a touch of brakes and a drop in gear for most cars. The key is the downshift to assist the sharper turn in

That banked right-hander at Maggiore has little to no limits. You can cut it really low.
Yeah, I do that. I honestly even considered that I might be cutting the track a bit too much and thus not be able to use the advantage of the banking, but keeping it in the banking is even slower

How did I also forget about Brands? I fully agree with everyone here about T1 at Brands (I'd pick the whole track but only turns are being discussed so yea)

Turn 5 at Maggiore has so many possible lines, and I still can never seem to choose the right one.
This, good grief. Maggiore feels more like a country road than a race track to me. Pretty much every turn has the same long sweeping profile, with the turn-in and apex completely open to interpretation...I can't get along with it.

Big Willow Springs - Turn 2 and the last turn. :banghead:

Yeah the last corner at Big Willow is one I absolutely hate, I just can't get a feel for it at all on entry. Sometimes it's perfect and others the inside kerb just throws me off into the desert.

The whole Brands Hatch track, I absolutely hate that track, never had good flow in my opinion.

Brands has such a good flow, but it's also very difficult because there is grass and gravel on every run-off/inside. Once you get a feel for the track it's pure joy, on the limit the whole time. I love Brands.

In no particular order:

The bus stop chicane at Dragon Trail Seaside.
Turn 5 at Maggiore GP.
The final turn at Big Willow.
The left hander before the banked turn at Alsace Village.
Turns 1 and 2 at Tokyo Expressway East Outer Loop.
The right hander entering the long straight on St. Croix C.

coming out the S Curves at suzuka uphill into Dunlop curve. even the slightest hint of being off line or having too fast an exit out of the final turn on S Curves can cause you running that tiny little bit wide and I've never seen anyone recover from that!

On real tracks, only sometimes Brands first downhill corner makes me problems, when I get used to car, there is no problem.

Usually all revers track layouts have strange corners, walls, bankings and kerbs, as @Famine mentioned, Dragon Trail has that a lot... As if track was made for one direction (what usually should be).

There is a strange corner on longer infield track at BMB, just before you rejoin oval part, there is a corner that goes from wide to ultra narrow, I think it is basically a double corner...

...maybe there are few more... :)
