Most Frustrating Race?

My most frustrating race must have been my first run at the 24 hrs at La Sarthe II. My car of choice was the Mazda 787B, and the lineup I finally got was as opposition was; another 787B, Nissan R92CP, Sauber-Mercedes C9, Minolta Toyota 88C-V and a Jaguar XJR-9. I A-speced for about 8 hours, and then went to bed. B-spec had to take over for the night. When I woke up and went back to play, Bob was second, behind the other Mazda, so I took over and easily took the lead. When I was pretty confident that nothing could go wrong, and a win was certain, I gave the wheel to Bob once again. with three laps to go, Bob had a 46 second lead over the other Mazda, but he was loosing ground pretty fast. when he came out on the last lap, the lead was down under 40 seconds, and I was so-so worried. But then, disaster struck! Going down the hunaudeires straight, Bob crashed! He maintained his lead though and could continue, but then - My god I could´ve thrown my PS2 out the window here - he crashed again!! I was screaming and jumping up and down in frustration! 24 hours down the drain! But Bob took it cool, and he was able to barely maintain his lead. The second Mazda was looking for opportunities to pass all the time, all the way to the finishline, but Bob endured the pressure and won! He won a 24 hour race with a 0.47 second margin! I didn´t know how handle that pressure, so I just laughed my head off!

i laughed when you said "bob crashed" :P

Well I finally managed to complete the special conditions hall last night at about 1am in the morning! I have to say grand canyon and ice arena hard are my least favourite races, without the penalties it's challenging enough but the ridiculous nature of the penalty system just makes it soul destroying at times, did anyone at PD actually bother to properly play test those two events?

After spending an hour or so free practicing at each track I managed to win them. Once you can do 0'49s at the ice arena or less you'll be quick enough to win.

Suzuki K Cup at Driving Park: Motor Sports Land II for 200 points - 🤬 track, gives me the complete and total 🤬 - 🤬 the designer of this piece of 🤬.

Other frustrating 200 point races include Crossfire at Speedway, Hyundai at several circuits, same with Saleen, Copen, GTi, Suzuki Concept and MG.

It's easy to do those.. just throw your rear in in every corner and you won't get penalties. got me through.

oui un peu mais je comprend l'anglais sais jusque que je fait des fautes quand je l'écris

Hvorfor snakker du fransk nå altså? Herregud...

Aaaaanyway, my most frustrating race has got to be the first time I entered the Turbo championship in the Professional Hall I think...

gran turismo 4 trying to do the endurance race where a vector would spawn even though its too powerful for the bhp limit.

You mean GT2? The Trial Mountain 30 laps thing.... Apparently you could win with the tricked out mini.

Grand Canyon (Hard).

Either I'm too slow, or I get a headache watching my rear spin out, and can't concentrate.
