ALFA ROMEO GIULIA TZ2 carrozzata da ZAGATO CN.AR750106 '65
Most overpriced car in the game I think. Costs 10 million, and you can rarely ever use it, it doesnt fit in any particular category and has not other similar "rival" cars, and using the PP system its not a competitive car. Only good for lobbies with the specific weight+power limit and one make races.

PS: No car is undriveable if you tune it. Learn tuning basics, its not hard.

Underpriced: Suzuki GSX-R/4. It costs 125,000 cr but for low-time seasonals it usually ends up being a go-to car. I've used it to beat cars on road courses that I wouldn't expect it to touch. Heck, it's got a Suzuki Hayabusa motorcycle engine in it. It's super-light (tires last forever) and handles like I wouldn't believe was possible. Great gas mileage, too. Since it can be used against a very wide margin of street cars, I've won millions of credits without breaking a sweat. It's been one of my most favorite car for years of GT racing.

Overpriced: Nissan GT-R LM Nismo 2015. It cost 2,000,000 cr and I can't find any race car it's good for winning against. I'm no setup genius but I can't figure out how to make it easy to drive. Maybe because I'm not used to front wheel cars. The standard suspension setup is absolutely freakish. One of the worst race cars I've ever tried to use.

I will never have the money to race these cars. Not with the price of all the LMP cars, which I have mixed feelings about their prices.
Don't say you'll never have the money for those cars. Do the seasonal races, they're easy and give plenty of credits especially with the daily login multiplier on 5 (double credits).

Underpriced: Nissan R89C '89. This underrated Group C beast costs just 1.75 million, compared to other Group C cars which cost from 170,000 to 400,000 more credits. The R89C was one of the best cars in every Gran Turismo game it's been in, it can lap the Nurburgring in under 6 minutes (with a skilled driver, of course), and it is cheaper than it's competition. I hardly ever see the R89C online, and it is a car you should definetly try out.

Overpriced: I have two really overpriced cars that you should steer clear of. The first one is none other than the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 '09/'13. This car is loathed by the GTP community because of the Veyron's extremely high weight, it can't turn for crap, it's overuse in online, and how ugly the Veyron is. Why would someone buy this over the aformentioned R89C which is 250,000 credits less, the 787B which costs just a little bit more, and everything else in the Veyron's price range! Enough rambling on the Veyron, let's move on to the next car, the Aston Martin V8 Vantage '99. Oh boy, would Bond be disappointed. This thing weighs a MASSIVE 1,970 kg, even heavy compared to other Astons. It has a measly 506 PP despite having a healthy 550 HP. It has many of the Veyron's problems: too heavy, it can't turn, and it only excels in a straight line. Unlike the Veyron, however, the V8 Vantage looks cool. Still, who would buy this over far cheaper cars within it's PP range, like the Corvette Z06 C5?

I did! I love it!

Underpriced? Probably the 2010 Camaro or the 2000 Camaro. Both are very cheap indeed at 35k and 22k(ish) respectively, they handle well and can be turned into very formidable cars if you're not PP racing.

Overpriced for me would be the Mitsubishi I MIEV. Twice the price of the '00 Camaro for about 1/6 the power, and none of the enjoyment. In a game that doesn't give a good sensation of speed, a 63bhp electric car is mind-numbing.

As I recall, one of the two is standard and yet, priced at 20M. I believe it is the GT40 Racecar which, if I so desire to acquire a GT40, I would most definitely go for the GT40 Mark I '66. Worth every of its 2.8M I would say.

As for the other one, I can generally live without buying any of the cars above 5M in this game. There may be a special place for one of the Red Bull X, if only because we cruelly lack open-wheelers in this game.

For 40M, I would rather finish my collection of LMPs and other oddities from the past (wait for me Audi Sport quattro S1 Rally Car '86).

On topic, I believe the two Corvette's, ZR1 and Z06, to be underpriced greatly. Especially when taking its initial PP compared to GT3 cars and I might be wrong, but I do not believe either are GT3 spec.

Today I bought a car that seemed overpriced (but far from terrible driving). That car is none other than the BMW McLaren GT-R race car '97. To be honest, I don't see much of a difference in terms of performance compared to the '95. It costs about $300,000 more, and performs about the same, if not a little better.

I always thought 500,000cr+ was a bit much for a DeLorean. Except for some movie, it wouldn't even be in the game.

Actually, the '95 F1 GTR costs 1,750,000 cr and the '97 F1 GTR costs 1,800,000 cr. Besides, the '97 has 15 more PP than the '95 and looks better IMO. Both are great cars though.

I must've thought that the '95 cost $1.5 million :boggled:. Agreed though on greatness of the two.

It's alright. Just look at the prices before posting. Anyways, back on topic:

For underpriced, the Mazda RX-7 Type R Bathurst R (FD) '01 deserves a mention. It is the cheapest FD RX-7 in the game, and it has 461 PP, more than every RX-7 in the game besides the Spirit R. The Bathurst R is a really great sports car that just costs 33,980 credits.

For overpriced, the Lancia Stratos Rally Car '77 is definently overpriced. Don't get me wrong, it is beautiful as well as a really good car, but why does this cost 2,000,000 credits? You can get other rally cars like the Corolla or the 206 for just 300,000 credits that do just as well in performance. Heck, even the Xsara Rally Car, which costs 150,000 credits, can do just as well as a rally track as the Stratos. There are also Group C and Le Mans Prototypes that are cheaper than the Stratos, that's how overpriced it is.
