Think the NSX's and VX220 are too much for the RS in standard trim, lap times aren't fast enough (or I'm not). I'll hunt for something nearer Smallhorses line-up as I'm hitting 8'10s easily with a few drivetrain modifications on Sports Hard.

Bit more to do tomorrow (could get into late 8'7s) so should be ready to race on Sunday or Monday seeing as it's a UK bank holiday. :)

I've used the TVR Speed 12, which I tuned up to 1136hp with a supercharger. Yeah, I know, you're all gonna be like "Gee Narr, never would've guessed an eleven hundred horsepower supercar would manage to get ahead of hatchbacks*"

*Exaggeration I know...

The Lotus 111R (I think, the one with 154hp) gave me an enjoyable race. Great handling, doesnt run away from competition, I think I was doing 4 lap stints with S2s. The Jag was going 5 laps, and the Corvette Gran Sport could go 6 laps. It was quick just just a bit slower than the Jag. My avg lap time was around 8:10, and I think my fastest was 8:03. After getting M34, I love this track.

i got a thought maybe one of the Japanesse 4WD cars possibly subaru or skyline or evan the Lancer is a good choice.

wait what about the Lotus esprie. Mr trains about 190hp sounds like a unusual car, Maybe the Lotus Motor Sport Elise would be a good choice as well. s3 tyres on all are ok as they have good grip and the cars are either a 4WD or a MR car. would make the race Interesting.
I also feel that the BMW M3 GTR would make for a good race mind you though it does have a bit more power. Is it mandatory to have normal or sports tyres in the race

I'm not sure why either, but there are certain FR vehicles that CHEW front tyres.
Just ask anyone at SFGTP2 that drove the Ford Falcon XR8 '00! ;)

That is true the Falcon XR8 '00 does chew though front tyres. Is this the race car version or the standard one.
I don't know why this is maybe because the engine is monted at the front of the car and in real life (known from experience) that the car dips (front goes down) when you go under heavy breaking. This is very unusual for the tyres to wear like this but like someone said in a earlier post it is possible to make you 4WD handle like a FR or FF car depending on prefrences

Ok blakbenj06, which part of "Please do not double post at :gtplanet:" do you not understand?
Which word in particular are you struggling with?
I've asked you by Profile message, polite PM and issued an infraction PM to you for it when you continued to ignore the first 2 messages and continued to double post.
I know you read it before you posted here today. :sly:
You've received 10 more points to add to the first batch for the new double post above. 👍
It's a really stupid way to get banned, so sit up and pay attention, I'm sick of merging your multiple posts throughout the GT4 forums.👎
