- In arcade mode will there be an option to race against cars from the same class/racing series? In previous games if I were to select a given car, I would be put up against all types of cars from different manufacturers, and racing series. Will there be an option so that if I choose a Super GT GT300 class car I will race against only other GT300 class cars, or if I choose a DTM car I will race only against other DTM cars?

This and also will we be able to choose our opponents for Family Cup races in GT mode?

1.Will the weather change throughout the race or will it be fixed all the way through?
2. Will the weather, such as rain for example change the feel and make it more difficult for us to drive a car in different weather conditions?
3. How will the headlights and windscreen wipers work considering the track may need to be imluminated at different levels at times, in other words can you dim and brighten your headlights during a race at night? Same for the windscreen wipers. Will you be able to change the speed of them, depending on how fast you are driving and how hard it is raining for example?
4. Does the car count differ between regions? so for example Japan has 950 cars but europe has 1000+ cars. If 1000+, as stated by OPM, is not correct could you please give us the number of cars in the game?

Please post this Snaeper, it will make me very happy if these are answered by Kaz himself :)

EDIT: ^^ Its ok Snaeper I made an account on there myself :D ^^

Will drag racing be more detailed? More realistic with staging and burnouts and tire heating? Have you considered this?

Have you thought about skidmarks, and why having they made their introduction yet? There is weather, night racing, damage, but something as simple as skidmarks haven't been introduced?

My questions would be the following:

  • Will we have a dedicated 400m strip like Las Vegas and if so, where?
  • Will Nitrous be included in this version as it was in GT4?
  • Will be there a worldwide release date, and if not, when are the release dates for each region?
  • Will there be the Lacetti for 'Star In A Reasonably Priced Car' races??
  • Will the Tuner Village have more personalised parts or will it be as generic as the rest of the car modifications?

That's all I can think of off the top of my head.

Scroll down and you will see PD guys taking photos of Maserati.
That's not confirmation, PD take pictures of a lot of cars. They had pictures of Porsches and Ferrari's a long time ago. They photgraphed, recorded and drove a Renault Spyder, various Marcos' road and race cars and many, many more during GT4's developent that were never included in the game. They've had data on Ferraris, Lamborghinis and Porsches for years before GT4 let alone GT5. I'm sure they have collected data on a very large number of cars they can't or won't include at this time. Maserati may or may not be in GT5, but either way this is not confirmation.

Maserati were in the credits for GTPSP were they not?
We don't need to ask a question we already know the answer to. They certainly were included in the credits for GT PSP. It was for no other reason than permission to use thier cars on thoes posters on the Tokyo track which are there in real life, as Maserati are otherwise not represented in the game.

D1 right there:)
so when is motortrend interview? No no i don't ask to Kazunori this time lol.

My Question:

Is the loss of downforce being modeled when following other cars closely; since they now have NASCAR and are going to have formula one cars in gt5 now?

If so; will it be difficult to overtake in GT5 when racing formula cars together with high downforce???

I'm not entirely sure when they plan on interviewing him, they're talking to him AT CES though.... which makes me wonder if there might be any high-profile activity going on with GT. I figure that Mr. Yamauchi is undoubtedly a technophile like the rest of us, but we could very well see something go down with GT at CES, especially since there are few high-profile shows leading up to March, he could use this as an opportunity to present something?

All speculation... he's still there though, so who knows.

Just one question:

WHEN WILL THE GAME BE OUT FOR EU AND NA?

thats all

They will announce it when they're ready, there is zero chance they will answer this question with a proper answer until they have announced the date officially.

1.) How long does it take to gather technical data of the car's performance?

2.) Will Nobuhiro Tajima's Monster SX4 or XL7 be in the game?

3.) About how many new other manufacturers (notice how I'm not asking specifically what manufacturers we are going to have) we will see in the finished product?

Guys, i hope you realize Kazanouri never responds clearly about direct questions about the game. Asking specific questions about certain game mechanics, and a list of details about the content of the game is going way too far. Its like asking about the specifics of an turn based rpgs story.

That's why I asked if someone at MT can inject KY with some sodium penathol. Problem solved. :)

They probably already done the interview so may be pointless posting.

Will there be a special edition and if so what are the details?
