Yup. Definitely a setup. Dailymotion has the uncensored version by the way.

Youtube also has the uncensored version but I thought it was better to post this one in the forum... after carefully watching the other :D

OK8
Notice how she doesn't have her harness on.

Damn I come I didnt notice that after so carefully watching the video :D :D :D

NASCAR Sprint Cup Race Car at Monza, Italy. Amazing sound. NASCAR really needs to hold a road course race at some legendary European track, it would be amazing.

Variante Ascari starting at 1:21, more nice sound at 2:08 and later

Another great sounding racecar

Mazda 787b Amazing downshift sound

I still maintain that the most fun in GT5 has quite often been with using NASCARs on circuits. Lots of power and weight and high tyre wear makes for some really fun driving and interesting racing. Their whole image with ovals masks the real fun that can be had with them when really driven hard.

Not your typical motorsport but crazy nonetheless.

I think the best thing about this is how included the fans are. When F1 comes to town, you can't see the cars up close. In NASCAR, you're welcomed into the pits and you can even have a chat with a few of the guys on the team. Fans in Europe who never get that with European racing would love that.

But you still need to know or work for somebody to get Garage Hot Passes at NASCAR. I went to Indy last year and you could just buy passes to go in the garage area. It was awesome.

I like the NHRA method of making it part of any ticket.👍

I think it just comes down to the bigger a series gets the more areas need to be closed off to not only protect drivers and crews but to let them do their job.

NASCAR is pretty big, and they do it.

However I guess its more down to the fact that most NASCARS are broadly similar and in F1 teams will be hiding parts of the car from the press, so the last thing they want is fans hanging around.

If you want to get really close to the cars go to the Goodwood Festival of Speed, when I was there I got to sit in one of the F1 cars and a DBR9 they were using that day, and all of the pits are just open gazibo's and you can walk into most of them.

F1 != All of European racing. I can happily go to pretty much all of the events at Oulton Park and walk into the paddock and talk to the drivers and teams.
The pitlane isn't normally open to everyone for safety reasons though and is normally only open for autograph sessions. But everything behind the pit garages is always open and free to the public.

first flyby video

I took my Fiancee to the Toronto Indy last year. I wish I had been videoing her. Her reaction was priceless.

Agreed.

When TWR - Jaguar staged the most ridiculous race series ever:

Kind of like Ferrari staging a race series with FXX cars or something, just for marketing purposes. Shame there is barely any footage of it.

Forgotten about the Ferrari Challenge series? They don't use FXX's, but the point still stands. I actually saw the North American version supporting the Indycar race at Toronto last year.
