@SJC ALPHA, your turn to ask a question ;)

Here's a quicky to keep everybody occupied in the meantime... I think we might have had it before, but ach so...

On what date, where and by whom was the tradition of spraying champagne on the podium begun?

When was the last time someone who had a F1 title to their name failed to qualify for a Grand Prix?

I'm sat thinking Piquet but I'm not certain, somebody's career went down the drain around that time

I'm going to guess Alonso in a Minardi (didn't have a championship at the time) or Damon Hill in... a Jordan? Not sure when though, would be somewhere in the late 90s.

Only half a guess, I know :D

Sorry folks, health issues.

So in the days of testing, at an official test at Silverstone in 1990 just before the British Grand Prix, Honda ran their V12 for the first time, who drove ?

1990... Honda V12... McLaren...

No idea, I'd say Senna or Berger but I bet that's a trick question ;)

I think that was Mika Hakkinen.

I'm pretty sure it wasn't Senna or Berger, so I'll say Allan McNish as he tested for McLaren round about that time.

Good choice, I think he had a run in a McLaren for winning the Autosport award, then later a test driver, not him though, in some ways the closest so far.
Martin Brundle? I have some memory of him running a test in a McLaren back to back with Senna...
Another good choice but not him.

Are you sure it wasn't McNish?

That's a good find, I'll give you the win on that.
I have the pictures I took of the test and E. Pirro was the driver, we were told it was the first time running by the commentary team and was a big surprise of it showing up.
