How many times has David Hobbs competed in the Indy 500? What was his best finish, and what (chassis and engine) was he driving?

He took part in four different races: 1971, 1973, 1974 and 1976. His highest result was in 1974 with a 5th place finish in in the McLaren M16C/D Works car. I can't find anything on the engine.

All 33 cars cars ran Offenhauser turbo engines that year. So Hobbo must have, too. Please take your turn, Obelisk. BTW, are you particularly interested in obelisks? Ever seen one?

@TB said my avatar should be an obelisk. I haven't really seen one as far as I remember. My username is a long story, too.

Anyways, here's a funny one.

What was Kimi Rakkonen's reason for missing the ceremony for Michael Schumacher's last race, and what was the reporter's response?

He was "Having a 🤬"

To quote the reporter "Ok, haha thanks"

Oops, sorry. Your turn. Or you can hand it off to someone else.

I got one, sorry in advamce because I excel in Nascar knowledge.

The 1950 Southern 500 at Darlington was the first race of it's kind in Nascar, a "Super Speedway" also the first ever 500 mile race. It was won by Johnny Mantz who was 10 seconds off the pace of the nearest competitior during Qualifying.

What was his winning strategy?
What was his margin of victory?

I believe I've read that he was the first one to use slipstream, that being the race it was first taken advantage of?

Good guess but no.

I can't really prove or cite this, but I am pretty sure there was never another Nascar (or any major race) won using this strategy.

I know he qualified last, was that strategic somehow?

Really? There was never another Nascar race won using slipstreaming?

Big claim... you already had to correct yourself on Lee Petty's total GN/Sprint wins ;) :)

And tons of races had been won with Slipstreaming, to my knowledge there hasn't been another race won by driving 45 miles an hour to avoid tire changes.

OK then, which F1 world champions have never scored at Monaco?

Hawthorn never scored but one point for fastest lap at Monaco, but it was not counted due to the "best 6" rule in '58.

Oh, I forgot to factor in the "fastest lap = 1pt" rule from back then. However, since @Jimlaad43 did answer my question, it's his turn.
