You know the ones. Where you think your going to see a great movie but you walk out of there bitterly disappointed.

I don't want to name my movie. I have deleted all memory of the movie from my head and never want it mentioned to me again. But let's just say it was a kids movie that disappointed and has turned into a cash cow for the studio who keep making sequels.

I generally do not regret seeing the movie, but regret to have spent the time on it.

But what about a movie like the "The Ring".

I might regret that, since every time I think about it I'm still worried the dark forces might really exist. Regularly I still have something that looks like a fly somewhere and I see that is starts to move, ... am I cursed?

The Princess Bride. What a load of tosh. Can't believe a friend recommended it to me!

Transformers 3
Brief opinion below, but spoilerised in case...
I thought that too, being the last film I watched! Only I don't regret seeing it. I regret the film not living up to my own hype and anticipation of it.
I'm trying to rack my brain of films that I do fully regret, but I think I have erased them all from memory successfully! I did see a film with the girlfriend and hated every single second of it, typically teenage girl audience (only this was only 2 years ago....).

Another worthy of mention is "Driven". This isn't regretted for watching it, but because when I was young I actually liked it...

Van Wilder 2. Xtra-Vision, I want my money back!

Fast Five was more of an action film. I went in expecting an Action Film, which it worked out ok.

But as a F+F film? It was quite poor. And yes, it would have been a slight waste of time and money for that.

Star Wars Episode I,is dreadful, well the bits when you don't got slept'd by it.

But it showed the origins of one of the most important and central characters in the Star Wars universe...

I regret seeing Gamer, what a load of garbage.

Forget Jar-Jar, Episode I was awesome just for that last battle between Liam Neeson, Obi-Wan and Maul.

Anyway, the ones I regret seeing are Dark Knight, Ocean's Twelve, Watchmen, Braveheart (and Fight Club, to a degree).

Tropic Thunder, that was supposed to be a comedy of a war movie with actors pretending to be real army guys in a movie set who then were actually in a proper war setting and still pretending to be actors?

Yeah, I didn't like it that much as the comedy factor was lost on me.

Gamer certainly is also on my list.

Movies I fall asleep (I rarely fall asleep, so that is evidence of the boreness)
Napoleon Dynamite
The first Futurama Movie (it was so long and i was soo sleepy)
Pocahontas in Blue (avatar?)
Biker Boyz (the z was already a strong indicator)
Torque
........

Watchmen, (and Fight Club, to a degree).

I agree with you about Watchmen, I thought it was quite a disappointing movie overall. I don't understand why you regret seeing Fight Club though.

Also, one other movie I regret seeing is Cloverfield. I know it was mostly praised by critics, but I just didn't like it at all.

Dorm Daze 2, XXX: State of the Union, any original movie on Sy-Fy, T3: RotM, Redline, and that's all I can think of.

Some crap movie my gf made me watch called "A Haunting at Winchester house"...horrible movie with poor acting, worse special effects and a twist that was obvious from the start. 👎
