Moving Images out of 1 post into another in same thread?

@Jordan and/or @Famine ,

I've been screen capturing our driver's list for this post, and am wondering if there's a simpler way to move images into another post, which I haven't created yet, in that thread? What I've come up with at the moment is, download each attachment I want to move, then attach/upload it to "archival" post, then delete from the OP. Hoping there's a simpler method and I'm just ignorant or blind to that option.

Not sure if there's an attachment limit to a single post either and am not really interested in finding out what that is by accident.

I don't think I really understand what you're attempting to do, but it seems like your best option would be to just reference the image URL with an IMG tag.

Or, if you want to re-use images a lot, I think the best option is the Media Gallery with a personal album. Then you can easily insert them into multiple posts as needed.
