MR2 Supercharged P&P

Okay, I'm quite confused. I am in the process of building up an MRS (Toyota MR2 Spyder '02 6 speed sequential manual transmission). I had it built up a little bit (engine balancing, racing exhaust, chip, supercharger, sports suspension, racing flywheel, and a 1.5 way LSD) But then I went and ported and polished it. It went from 247hp to 218hp!!!
Is this normal? Why did I LOSE horsepower by porting and polishing the head? I am quite confused.

The car is screwed up. Go into settings and see what happens when you select and de-select the exhaust and racing chip options, with supercharger selected and de-selected:


With supercharger selected:

With neither chip or exhaust, I get 222 HP.

With both, I get 207 HP.

With exhaust only, I get 233 HP.

With chip only, I get 231 HP.


With supercharger de-selected:

With neither chip or exhaust, I get 153 HP.

With both, I get 167 HP.

With exhaust only, I get 161 HP.

With chip only, I get 159 HP.


They screwed up the coding when the supercharger is installed. It makes a mess of it. Add yet another bug to the seemingly endless list of GT4 problems.

Love this game, but how could they spend so much time on it and put out something with so many errors?

there really arent that many bugs, theres a few car ones and a few maps one (le sarthe anyone) but its a great game nonetheless

you can get madness with everything exept a racing exhaust, but the SEMI racing exhaust and ecu and p.p and balancing, and supercharger and that fixes it all, and you get a ****load of torque, like 31kgf/m. same with the AE86, and the SW20, and the ZZW30
