It's for that very reason I hate when the when the top and bottom of the capital I are not used.

It wasn't my intentions starting out but someone eles already had my made up nickname in all caps. Who would've thought. So I had to get creative. My Rinsky account I've had since the very first PS2 and it has more paid DLC on it than I care to add up. I know there is over a $1000 in RockBand music alone on it the @Infineon is still using to this day so that's why I have a new GTS account.

What a great race! I had some fantastic duels along the way, before i lost it to the pee pressure. In the end, i wasn't prepared to wet myself in order to finish the race... Great racing, really clean and respectful. Thx - i'll be looking forward till next time!

One of the things I like about our group of racers is everyone is very respectful and a clean racer.

Another great race! Was having a great battle with @bloodyboyblue, we were close all the way through until he disconnected?. Atenza wasn’t good on its tyres, front right was always well down after a couple laps, made the fast left handers tricky. Tried to get more of a gap by going early on one of my stops so the last stop would be optimum but he covered that.

Anyway great race, think everyone is getting faster. I think the new entries enjoyed the race, I certainly did. Thanks to @Rinsky for setting up another great race!

I think your right as the new entries really seemed to enjoy themselves and they were all good racers. I had some great battles with @Cold Warrior, @FlyinHawaiian77, and me and @im2fst4u went at it for over half the race.
Letting only the people who finished a lap down practice for the next race seems to be working. This was your idea and I applaud you for it.

Yes, slightly easier to take DCs when you regard it as blowing the engine, which seems likely in the WRX. It’s weird, I only have problems with American-hosted rooms in this game, they’re the only one I ever DC from. I think I’ve DC’d from Sport mode once and never from the Finnish rooms I race in on Sundays

Took me 45 minutes to knock the 10 second gap I had to @Venster from pitting a lap later and taking a 3 second penalty back down to 3 seconds, then DC’d. I was waiting until 20 minutes to go then I was going to do 2 4/5 lap runs on mediums to finish the race so it would’ve been interesting.

I think I’ll make this running the same car more interesting by making a new livery for every race, already had the first two in my library, so now I’ll actually have to start making new ones

This running different cars and the pit strategies you guys come up with is a eye opener for the rest of us non aliens

Sorry you got DC and @Cold Warrior did as well with 5 minutes left in the race.
There are still some big issues with PD and their lobbies and I will touch on that here in another post.

The racing was great! In the early stages I followed another car for 3 laps or so until he got loose and I slid by. I was racing with several cars throughout the race and never had any contact or guys zig zagging to block. Cant wait for next race

So I want to thank all of you who showed up for another exciting race. We were missing a few people some of them I knew about others I did not. That's ok as we don't punish anyone for missing one race. We did have 2 people who missed their second race in a row and will now drop off the list all together and their cars will be added back into the available pile.

We had some issues again with the servers on PD's end. Two people got DC from the lobby and this is the first time that's happened in 3 race's.
With this last update even though I have all ghosting turned off cars were becoming ghost if they spun out or were riding around with a penalty... really PD?

We did not have any issues with people seeing each other in the lobby. This is still a big problem carried over from GT6.
The difference with all the issues now is nobody is playing for free anymore and everyone is paying a fee to play online.

So get off your lazy ass Sony & PD and fix the online issues if your going to charge us to play.

I started last but somehow finished a hard fought 3rd against @im2fst4u in the race. It was really 5th because @bloodyboyblue disconnected and @SRT DK Racing left because of a bad knee. Both were unbelievably fast racers. But I will take my rare Podium finish anyway.

I hope all of you will return again as we really enjoyed having you. Next month a few of our regulars should be back and others have already said they cannot make it for July.
I know a month in between races is a long time but as you can see a 1.5hr race takes alot out of everyone to complete and I don't see it doing well if it was ran more often than that.

I might take a few more entries to this league later on as we only had 12 out of 16 in the May and June race's but if everyone showed up I would be in a jam. I just don't think that will happen though.

I look forward to racing with everyone next month. @Infineon will be selecting next month track as I finished on the lead lap and cannot know the next race until its time for me to setup the lobby.

The first page post has been updated with the new date, all drivers signed up and the available Gr.4 car left.

Was much better with lapped cars not being ghosted, although they show the blue flags way too early! I had probably 4-5 seconds to catch on @fastone371 and the blue flags were out! The marshals were pretty keen as well showed me blue flags at some points!!

Ha ha, I’ve driven it a lot and it’s a little soulless to be honest. It’s got terrible race pace, destroys its front tyres, the drive out of the pits practically wears out its front tyres and it nails fuel and yet I still like it

Yep, I was Mazda in 90% of the FIA seasons, it cost me a lot of DR points. Driving it is probably the sole reason I’m not A+ anymore. I stayed loyal to Mazda, but not anymore. I imagine it’s ok driven with Manual but with Automatic it exacerbates it’s lack of pace and fuel mileage even more, and it doesn’t reward slow in fast out like the Subaru.

Also anyone who wants the Subaru can have it. I’d enjoy driving a slower less popular car

I've never driven the Lexus but it seems to be. If i was to give up the Porsche and I'm not I would take the Corvette from that list but that's just me.

As of right now I should be able to make the July 7th race as long as there isn't a family event or another group event I'm a part of. I'm looking at making a new livery for the Viper that should somewhat be inspired by the 4th of July somehow so be ready for a different look to the Viper instead of the green metallic livery I had last month.

I'm really sorry again, but I think I have to drop out of this racing league. On July 7 there's an anime convention that I've been waiting eagerly to come, so I can't let that chance pass by. I'll still watch this thread as the post-race comments are really amazing to read the Megane Trophy is back up in the cars available I guess? Call your dibs now guys

Figured I could knock out two birds with one stone so I can get as much seat time as possible with one single car. This last race kind of showed it. Once the tires went away so did my hopes of ever being in contention. Still had plenty of fun though! Everyone was super clean and competitive top to bottom.

When was the last time you saw the VW with the sawed off roof on a top 10 leader board?? It's sorta monkey see monkey do. Funny case was a daily in Monza where the top time was in a Huracan. Most of the time half of the field was in that atrocity of a car
I also hope someone can give the Gr. 3 Atenza some love, since it's around the pace of the Corvette after the new update

As you can see from the post below @Venster already called the new Megane Trophy. He did it right before the race started and I have to honor that.
If he decides to accept that car I will let you have his Mazda that's already won two races. If you don't take the Mazda I already know a few people that will grab that car up in a second.

@Venster is really cool people and he is all about giving everyone in our race with less skill than him every available chance to up there game.
He is also the reason why everyone who finishes a lap or more down in our endurance races are the only ones who get to know the next months track to practice.

If it's the only available car left that makes you better then I bet he will let you use it.

Thank you. I didnt see anyone talking about it and since it was a new car I didnt see it in the line up, thats why I originally asked. If the Trophy is spoken for I will stick with the Citroen. When do us "lappers" get the inside info on the new location? I hope it aint on the mountain, I always avoid the daily's there, just cant put in a good lap there. Track is too narrow, never enough power going uphill, not enough brakes going down, and heaven forbid if you come into the pits too fast, if you are lucky you dont hit anything but then if nothing stops you you might end up back on track with 3/10ths of a lap fuel left to complete one of those 9 mile long laps, Im not sure which is worse.

As far as the blue flags, they are nice but as Venster mentioned they sure come out early. I think I was getting them for 3-4 laps, I kept checking my mirror but nobody was there that I could see. Then I was watching the red number next to your position that tells you how far behind the leader you are and it was about 5 second difference between the time differential and my lap times. When he was a car length behind me I just slowed a little and let him by, I wasnt going to catch anyone and I sure didnt want to affect the outcome of the race in the closing minutes, there were only a few minutes left and I didnt know how much he had on second place.

Firstly I should be able to make the race on the 7th, although late for me these races fit perfectly. With a family sometimes it’s difficult to fit racing in so these are great for me and really enjoyable.

Secondly it’s a shame alpha can’t make it, good racing with him in the first race and has great pace so disappointing he can’t make it.

Onto the main question..... the Atenza. I’ve driven this car a lot and I’m very comfortable in it. I’m torn in some respects. I like the concept of keeping your car all the way through as it kinda gives it some ownership which to a certain extent this game lacks sometimes, much like @Rinsky has with his cayman I think. But I almost feel I have an unfair advantage because I’m too comfortable with it, I think someone else would benefit from using this car, I’ve won twice and a third with this car and this league is about fun not results, if I can help someone have more fun and be more competitive I think I’m happy to give it up. The closer we all get the better races we will have!

Now in regards to what car I would replace it with, this is tricky. I’m not an alien by any stretch, I run reasonable pace I think but I don’t get to race too often. I really want to use the Mégane trophy, I use only cockpit view and it’s easily one of the best in the game in this respect. But equally @fastone371 wants to use this too, I want to help everyone but if he’s happy to keep the Citroen then I will take the Mégane trophy please. I think it will get nerfed a tad before the next update!

Lastly if I can help anyone out I’m happy to, as said I’m not an alien by any means, think I can do a decent lap time generally though. If anyone wants to do practice lobby’s might be able to help with lines braking points etc.
