It's possible if you connect 3 PS3's with each other, which is pretty expensive.A long while back there were rumors the PS3 would support multiple screens, so that games like GT5 could have multiple views.
Does anyone know if this is still a possibility?
Only multiple screen issue I remember is the ability to use a PSP as a rear view mirror.

You win!
(but pleeeeeease get better speakers to go along with that sweet set-up!!!!) 👍
Sorry, but a thousand bucks for each PS3 and however much it costs for each screen purely so you can see a little to either side of you when you're racing? It's absolutely not a waste of money.![]()
Or 3 beamers.Ideally one large widescreen monitor would be the best bet.
That's your opinion. Not mine. I don't regret one moment that I spend all that money on three ps3's and three monitors.Do you race?To me that's a waste of money because you're not really getting much more for all the extra dough you're putting in ...
It doesn't bother when you're playing. You don't even notice it.j8mieAs much as I like the idea of having three screens, you can't do anything about the overlap between screens of the frames of the monitors.
Huh?PakoJust think of the folding@home power of three PS3 though?
EDIT: Update: kikie's pic was made to show how it "might" look:Does GT5P work on that multi screen setup? I guess not at moment right?
Yes, it does work. Look more closely at kikie's pic in post #7:
I have to say that I didn't use LAN settings to achieve what you see in #7. It is just a photo of how it "could" look in GT5 if it supports surround gaming. It's actually not a surround image at all. Just 3 cars at the same place on the track with the middle monitor viewing the centre view and the other 2 => left monitor = looking left. Paused each game and took the photo.Yes, it does work. Read this:seymoreOne thing how do you connect the PS3 up
Thanks for the advice! Never thought about that. I'm going to try it later on. + REPTo try and minimalise the amount of screen border between each screen, you could set the two side monitors back a touch so the the centre one over lapped them slightly reducing the width of the screen frames a touch. I've done this at home with my dual monitor setup. Every little helps.

Ah, well you get extra credit for making it look quite good.I have to say that I didn't use LAN settings to achieve what you see in #7. =>right monitor = looking right.
That would be the case since your monitors are so small (or unless you sit very close to them). You can hardly see the difference between 720p and 1080p.

Good to hear you fixed the issue. 👍
Thanks for the advice! Never thought about that. I'm going to try it later on. + REP
I did what you suggested and it's perfect. Thanks!
