Don't own PS3
Let's face it, GT has never had a good music selection, maybe you'll like 3 or 4 but we all have different taste in music, some people like Rock, or Hip-Hop or Dance etc...
So until GT comes out with a "Use your own USB flash drive to play the in-game music" here's my top 5

Wamdue Project - King of My Castle
Planet Patrol - Play at your own Risk
Barthezz - On The Move
Dirty Vegas - Days go by
Danii Minogue - I Begin to Wonder

same track I listen when I'm going into "race mode" in real life ;)

the big casino "mistreated" track I discovered in Getaway In Stockholm 2 :)

(don't really understand what they say my english isn't that good, but it's not that important lol it just makes me prss the right pedal harder)

Rammestein (mutter album)
muse
Placebo
Kerrang radio.

kerrang is a great station, the army had an advert on it for the royal marine commandos saying 'are you tough enough to chisel through 1/2 an inch of ice after a 5 mile run and swim?' the the presenter interrupts going 'i had to chisel through 1/2 inch of ice to get to my windscreen this morning'.

made me giggle.

I listen to.............FEEDER, FEEDER and more FEEDER ! Shame they only have one track in GT4, and damn Polyphony digital won't put their music in the USA version. But yeah in general, i just have my Feeder albums on, though i do quite often like the music in the games, like i gt4, theres so many good songs in the game.

YOU ARE THE MAN !!!

I always open my Windows Media Placer with complete albums:

FEEDER: Pushing the sences, especiallyTumble and Fall!
Placebo: Sleeping with ghosts
Motorhead: No Remorse ( Ace of Spades!)
Zornik: some belgian music band
Linkin Park: Meteora
Muse: I forgot the name of the album

Cheers,

The first thing I realized was to edit all the ****ty rock songs out, I found that some of the classical songs were perfect for high speed/endurance racing so now I have music set to 16 and engine to like 4 and its perfect, absolutely perfect.

the music selection along made the game twice as good..incredible

No ingame music (except the occasional Panama, Moon Over the Castle, and the one Dieselboy song ;)). If I want to listen to music I'll listen to some trance or maybe some rock with my surround sound. :D

well... as driving music "Get Low" and "Lean Back" among others are firm favorites... music like Chemical Brothers and some older Prodigy songs offer a nice adrenaline rush.

I play GT4 with the ingame music on, although I would've like to see the entire soundtrack that was in the Japanese version rather than just the American version sountrack (man, I was looking forward to some of the European version tunes).

I guess that means I'm the only one here who hasn't turned off any of the songs (but I added the daiki kasho songs to the list) in the game's soundtrack.

I love music, but if I am seriously trying to drive to the limit I can't have music - one simply needs to hear the engine. You can't drive around always looking at the revs in the corner of the screen. If I was doing something easy like the F1 championship that doesn't require you to drive anywhere near the limit, I would listen to some music, any decent (usually reasonably hard but not always) rock. Tool, The Mars Volta, Radiohead, Finch, for example. If I was doing one of those tricky special missions, though, I would not listen to music.

i like some rock and dance.stuff like feeder,lost prophets,blink 182,simple plan,something corporate,linkin park,dj dean,dj volume to name a few
