Every standard muscle car.
Mustangs too lol
Why keep Acura NSX '04 if we have Honda NSX Type R '02?
Much more to keep:
Alfa Romeo 155 2.5 V6 Ti '93 - very high revving, DTM car from 90's, very cool
Alfa Romeo GTV 3.0 V6 24V '01 - already a classic, nice looking, great Alfa V6.
Maybe some Astons? I like the looks of DB7 and Vanquish, Vantage is not that great IMO, but it's more unique than these two.
Audi DTM's A4 and TT. And the street RS4 '01, very nice car.
Same with BMW 320 Touring Car and M3 Race Car. Don't know if E46 should be kept as a GTR or CSL.
Chevy Corvette C1 also would do.
The list could keep on and on... But don't forget GT5 was also always about slow cars and turning them into fast ones, especially on the beginning of the game, so as long as cars don't have duplicates, I think we should have cars like Honda Beat (another cool Kei-Car) or Citroen C3 or something like that to have choice at the start, not only an MX-5 or Civic EK. I think when we'll have a bigger premium car list, with 400-500 cars, PD will come back to classic UCD system from GT2 and GT4 (don't remember GT1), new cars in new dealerships, older cars (5 years+?) in used dealerships. I kinda liked that, was logical and quite real.
Saleen S7 Twin Turbo '02
Get rid of all of them!!!! We want everything that's on T10s car list and RM all the cars that are Premium then you can start working on some good Cars! Dump all that crap that's standard every single CAR!!!!!
MrDinosaw94Really? If you like Forza's car list so much, go buy Forza. The games are different. Saying "We want everything on T10's car list" is a flat out lie. You may want all of those cars, but I sure as hell don't. I've already got Forza on 360, why would I want it on my PS3 as well?
I want variation and those interestingly weird cars that the standard list contains. The point of this thread is to say which we should keep from the standard list, not start the typical war...
EDIT: On a side note, plenty of the cars in Forza are standard in GT5. So saying "dump all that crap" is just plain silly.
Added all except the DTM touring cars. I still contend that we dont need to settle for old 10+ year old DTM cars when they can always add 2012 models. I know there is alot of old Le Mans cars on the list but those are legendary because they won one of the biggest races in the world.
I agree GT needs it's share of slower cars. I'm sure PD is busy pleasing manufacturers and modeling those as we speak. But in the end this list is more about must have GT5 standard cars for GT6. So it isn't necessary to list a bunch of slow 125 HP cars
Are you kidding and you dont like there car list!
Chad D.Apart from the ones on the list, I would add the 1988 Chevrolet Camaro IROC-Z Concept, but I'd probably be the only one to say it, so yeah, I agree with that list.
EDIT: Nevermind, I can't read, lol.
Are you kidding and you dont like there car list!
Im sorry but gt5 has the BEST car list available there's only ten cars i want from forza , and the best cars in GT5 are sadly standards.. =(
PS your list is really your wish list your missing some classic historical cars and why no scoobie or lancer rally cars!
and the standard iroc car looks spot on!
XDesperado67You have listed many of the standards that get used more often and a lot of the race cars/high performance cars. But for many of us much of the fun comes from driving and tuning the less commonly seen cars and getting great performance out of cars that aren't typically thought of as being very sporty.
Driving a well tuned Kei car, wagon, minivan or truck can be huge fun and a good selection of them all needs to be kept and made premium.
Most of the cars from GT5 should be kept, what PD needs to do is thin out some of the model selections for various cars. One or two versions from each of a given cars generations is plenty. (don't need 10 versions of the miata or GT-R from the same generation.)
So sad that the iconic DTM cars are not on the list. New ones would be nice, but no love for the old death traps? I hope the below video would help you...the 190E Evo II is certainly legendary in my eyes.
No Formula GT? I know we got the F2007 and F10, but still...it's certainly a fun and unique car that deserves a premium treatment.
Where's the Countach 25th Anniversary?
As for muscle cars, no Plymouth love? Where's the Cuda 440 Six Pack '71 or the Superbird '70?
Then for tuners, there's the Spoon S2000 Race Car with the funky livery. Unless GT6 comes with a livery editor, this car deserves to be in. Also missing is the Carbon R.
Then lastly, there's no Toyota 7? I think it's unique enough to be put into GT6.
Your list is great and all, and new cars are awesome too, but it's some of these neglected quirky old cars that differentiates GT from all of its competitors. Remember, GT was meant to be a car museum in Kaz's eyes. I certainly hope he doesn't forget about the Skyline 2000GT-R or the good old 240ZG '71.
Haha...now that you mention it...this is just another one of those wish list with a name twist. We've thrown the OP quite a bit of suggestions, but some he simply chose to ignore and not put on the list due to personal opinion. This is certainly not the definitive "Must Keep Standard Cars list" that represent everyone's opinion at GTP.
