i hope i can have a great time with the announcement of my sponsorship deal for the Miata Amateur Hard Dog Challenge Cup!

Just took my new Miata out for a spin, this combination of car and parts is great! Probably the most "realistic" thing I've felt in the game. I'm quite looking forward to this. 👍

We aim to please. :D

Guys, I have a major announcement to make.

The contract with Reese wasn't working out. Plus, the Orange they were making me run was ugly.

So I've gotten out of it, and have signed on with Old Spice.

New colours are AMG Le Mans Rot / AMG Daytona Blau

'Much better.

Keep in mind, I'm going to be more strict about that this season. Once the season starts, no color changes. 👍

Edit: plus it's a pain to go in and make the changes on the registration table every hour that someone makes a change.

Yeah, that's fine.

I don't see a reason to change them again, to be fair.

Just make a separate "registration changes" form. 👍 Should make it a lot easier since you'd have a good basic sheet filled with just names and then the other form would collect people's updates in chronological form.

I have a few questions. I will be running the HardDog challenge

1.When is qualifying ? I just got done reading the rules but I don't see a set date for qualifying

2. Do I have to run a front lip. Also if I do run a front lip can I remove it for other track during the series.

3.Can we change the wheels

Qualfying is usually on Saturdays.

Qualfying is usually on Saturdays.

I thought it was on Friday and Saturday's but after reviewing the website it doesn't state when qualifying is so I don't know. Although it does say " All drivers are allowed to attend both qualifying sessions" which suggests it is held on 2 days.

Is chassis reinforcement required or optional? I drove mine without it for a few laps last night and really liked the way it handled so I'd prefer to have it off. But if it's required I'll purchase and install it.

Yup chasis reinforcement's required 👍

Also, about quali. to RT I thought we were gonna do an all week open qualifying format?

Thanks Wardez. I saw that on the website but I know sometimes that option is left up to driver's discretion so I wanted to double check. I'll get it installed. 👍

1. Qualifying is open format now, as Wardez stated. I will have rooms open at the normal times, but any race steward (when available) will be able to watch you qualify any time through saturday night when you are ready.

2. The front lip doesn't add any downforce, but the car looks better with it so it's mostly a requirement for me.

3. Wheels can be changed and painted.

Required. 👍

Hey Turbo, I cannot make Sunday 8 PM EST so have to drop out. Too bad as I was looking forward to running with you guys.

Made my Hard Dog car on Forza lastnight! looks pretty awesome! Im getting excited already and want to qualify now

I updated the season schedule so that you can click on the track names and it'll show you a track map. Nothing really important, but there if you need it. :)👍

Here's an idea: Let's delay HDCS to start two weeks after the start of*FMSC.

This would be to give the new people a chance to really be able to gauge their performance by running laps in the FMSC car and trying to match their own times to the FMSC qualifying times.

Make the first two HDCS races start at the same time as FMSC but make them practice races instead of actual rounds. Then add two more tracks at the end (possibly the first two practice tracks) to make it a full season length.

It'll give more people time to see HDCS while FMSC starts it's season and people would think "Man, well I know FMSC just
started but it looks like the other series still has two weeks to start so I'd rather join the other series so I can be competitive in the championship."

It would be a delay that works to the advantage of attracting the inevitably late newcomers that will trickle in after a new series starts. Instead of convinving them to race in a series that's already started we would simply encourage them to enter the later-starting series here so that they have plenty of room to be competitive.

I'd wanna see this done because I've always noticed that a lot of people only try to submit interest once they know a series will really take off. But they come in two races in and mostly decide not to commit because they feel that there's no point in racing because they wouldn't be able to get past the people that have done two rounds already.
Letting them know that HDCS will begin after the start of FMSC should peak their interest in joining when they realize that.
