Congrats to Smallhorses and MadMax for first and second. I somehow managed to round out the podium.

Nice job to everyone that submitted, and a huge to Marooned for his highest placement yet, and being less than a 1/10th s off a podium place!

Really enjoyed this race, but hey, it's a Miata, what's not to enjoy?!!!

Onto "Uber-suckage" it is then. Although, having run the Roadster 4hr race here in A-spec 3 times, I'm fairly familiar with this course in an MX5!

Gah, looking at the results that would have been a good one for me if that damn Audi hadn't been playing it's kamikaze games Second fastest laptime is the best I've had so far I think.

No, they seemed to bugger off into the distance after the second lap, but slowed down on lap 5 so I caught them going into lap 6. Got a good draft on lap 7, hence my silly fastlap, but was actually held up by the AI on lap 8 and ran a 2'23.0xx-something since I was unable to pass.
I tried to make YouTube video of last week's race just to prove everything was legitimate, but sadly even though Jump_Ace did all the hard work, YouTube is still restricted to 10 minutes maximum length!
It's still downloadable, but 177MB in size, so it takes a while.
Can do same with this week's effort, but since I've recently acquired a "personal" laptop to go with my new "work" one, I'm going to consult Jerome about what it is I need to make my own videos, and what he can teach me about doing it. 💡 Hopefully it's all simple & easy or he's buggered!

Smallhorses, thanks a lot mate i never thought that i'll get the 4th for this one, i had fun with the track but don't forget it just the extra HPs

Not sure if you'll be able to see NTSC format replays on your system unless you're running an NTSC model PS2 or PSTwo.

Unfortunately the race lengths for this series, of 15 - 20 minutes each, make them unsuitable for posting to YouTube, since they have a maximum limit of 10 minutes for a video clip.
Jump_Ace posted a link to my week 4 race in the Round 4 thread, but it's a 177MB .wmv file, so it'll be a matter of right-click & "Save As", then leave it to download for about 30 mins!
Sadly I'm not able to make videos myself, and I don't want to bother Jerome 2 weeks in a row!

I did a bunch of max drive work last night, but did not pull this replay. I still have it if anyone that is able to view it wants to see it. (I keep all of my submitted replays for all GTP events.)

MadMax86, For sure Mika Hakkinen was one of the best drivers, i was talking about the new ERA , and yes i'd love to watch your reply. I'm trying to improve my driving although i've been playing GT4 for 3 years...But it's different racing with you guys than racing with the AI, we push each other to the limits
