Uhm, I reckon about 10 - 15% in all honesty, but cannot be sure until dyno'd. But, it's all preparation for the supercharger.

Heh. Bit of re-working then! One thing I've always liked is the quilted centre console, something to match the doorcards perhaps. You'd need to find space for the electric window switches elsewhere and it wouldn't really fix the fuel and boot release thing, but it'd have the right vibe.

I'd never seen those before, looks like a good product. Though it also specifically states that it doesn't fit RHD cars, which is a bummer.

Leaving the really easy joke aside, yes.
Perhaps with the "Tall people mods" I'd be okay but my friend has an MX5 and when I was detailing the interior I felt really uncomfortable - most of my height is in my legs so I had to bend them in an awkward way to safely operate the pedals and I had minimal room between me and the steering wheel and I couldn't see much through the front shield due to the visors..

I am 6 foot 4 and I fit in mine with out too much hassle. My cousin is 6 foot 5 and he does too, although he has a deep dish 330mm wheel, which gives him infinite more leg room, and I will get round to getting something similar.

I suspect it comes down to what sort of driving position you like, more than overall height. I'm only two inches shorter than Urie yet MX-5s fit me like a glove.

I think above a certain height you gonna get unconfortable in those car. But I think S2k are even worse. I fit in both, but I have friends, they barely fit in it, and if you barely fit in it, you never want to have a crash in those cars (not that someone would want that, but... )

Black with gold wheels really does work well. Proper John Player Special look to it. In fact, I'd seriously consider some very subtle gold pinstriping...
Not that obvious perhaps - maybe just along the swage line and around the front and rear bumpers.
I'll say one thing, it's certainly making me reconsider black MX-5s - I've always preferred lighter shades, but with the right touches black can really work.

So, I got my interior back together for JapFest with my new carpetted center console and my smoothed tombstone and then decided at the show that I didn't like it. This got me depressed.
Then I won a set of BC coilovers at JapFest for having the fastest lap. This made me happy again.
Anyway, last night I stripped my seats out and removed the carpet, and tomorrow I am going to test fit a pair of bucket seats that my mate is selling. Because racecar.
Coilovers arrived yesterday, as did some awesome bullet wing mirrors (that might as well be non existent for all you can see out of them) so busy weekend.
Pics to follow. (My computers CPU decided to fail on me so I am computerless at the minute)

Good call on the bullet mirrors too. I was considering some for mine before it was removed from my possession, they can look great on a car with the right sort of style.

Ah, okay. I feel like it'd have been more impressive if you'd lied and said you'd spanked a bunch of GT-Rs on the track
