So the car has been off the road since the 10th of December because I am scared of the salt and grit ruining my bodywork and causing rust, so I've been running around in a 1.25 Mark 4 Fiesta. Not quite as fun.

Anyhow, I finally summoned the motivation to test fit my new bumper!

The inner bumper had to come out too as it fouled on the inside of the new bumper but I am hoping to trim it and reattach it.

The baby teeth had to come off too. One came off like a dream but I rounded all three bolts on the other side. Mr grinder came out to play after that...

Anyway...

I'll get it sprayed later next month probably.

Those "baby teeth" are the tie down loops they used to strap down the cars during shipment from Japan. On my car I painted the RH one orange and then took the other one off. Should be some in the back too, although I can't remember if they come off or not.

Thats the ones. I have wanted to take them off for a while but never really could be bothered, but they were stopping the bumper from flexing round so I thought screw it.

There are two at the back also. I attached a rear tow hook to one at one point.

I need to go through this whole thread and replace all the pics yet again.

All the pics are broken... Anyway. Will post a pic of the car at the minute..

Borrowed my mates Watanabe wheels for japfest whilst I got my new wheels sorted...

Need to get some proper high res pics taken as that one does it no justice. :(

Yeah 13"x 7 ET3 on the front

13"x 8 ET8 on the rear

The bucket seats sat too high.
Gonna get some more and try and get them sitting lower.

Let me know what you're considering. I'm also looking for buckets at the mo but the list of ones that'd sit me low enough and are slim enough to fit in the Mazda's cockpit is small. Currently topping the list is a set of Corbeau LE-Driver seats designed for the Elise. They're not too horrifically expensive either.

Yeah there aren't many 13 inch options.

I was thinking maybe some fiberglass bucket seats, kit car style.
