Have any of you driven the LCC Rocket through Nurb? It's real fun :) I think if these races do happen, we should do a race with all Rockets!

It is really fun, I agree.
That car is fun in all tracks, by the way. Doing any Le Sarthe race with is pretty much a guarantee victory and lots of overtaking in turns.

So because I didn't know you can't save a practice session (it's obvious, but I didn't think of it), there are no pictures of the first informal session of the future racing club, but this could be some of us soon (taken during the 24 Minutes of the Nüburgring)!

First overtake, all is well (I'm driving the Benz)

Apparently that AI driver doesn't like being overtaken, as he committed suicide at the next turn...

We need the run up to Schwedenkreuz to be a bit wider...

Going up the hill towards Kreuz

And one more overtake, for good measure

So who else is in??

Just ro say:

This happens (almost ?) in every Nürburg 24' race to one (or more) of the AI. I think it started happening two or three updates ago. There is no visible obstruction there, just the end of the crash barrier. Can't really blame the AI pilots, since it happened to myself also. You never now which car is going to crash. Mostly in the first lap, but also in the second, have not seen it happen in the third (because at that time I am too far ahead and I only use a partial map).
It can be pretty scary, especially when it happens right in front of you, and even if you are more or less expecting it...:mischievous:

I've started noticing it too, so this time I was on the lookout in my rear view.
I've tried to do it but couldn't; so it's like there's something at the end of the crash barrier? I'm going to try that today...

I stopped playing GT6 and only started to play Forza 5 again when the Nordschleife DLC was released. The Forza 5 Version is great but the Nürburgring is not the Green Hell without Weather and Night racing. My favourite offline Race ist the Arcade Race with one of the GT3 Cars. All the AI Cars will be GT3s too. :)

@FlipJ, what about that race?

I think we need to have a 2+ hours endurance, with weather changeability, starting in the morning and going through the night!

After ONE DAY of practice with the thing, no assists. MAN I'm tired!

Oh, I also did this. Doubt these are that great of laps, and I had to record it on my phone, but I'm still happy I got em.

If someone could tell me if I'm doing well/what I need to improve on I would appreciate it, I want to be as good as possible. (Done 1,000 miles in two days on it just to improve.)

I was thinking about that today!
I'm hoping to get everyone on board for a race on Thursday. I don't have you signed on, but if you want to, I'll add you to the conversation we are having.

Maybe i can do it. You can add me to the conversation.

.......... My worst result (until now) is a 9th place..........
Correction: worst result is now 16th (and last...)
It was Jay Leno's Tank Car's time to "perform"...
It (as in I) needed over 12' to finish a lap, so the second lap was also the last.
Two lonesome laps, never saw another car again...

Driving it was fun though. I switched between cockpit / hood and follow cam. It is amazing to see the car move around, nose diving under braking, lifting, wobbling, rocking ...
Replay is pretty impressive too

Pictures? I don't have that one, and even with the millions I made in that Nordschleife seasonal (I was so sad to see it gone), I'm still not really willing to spend almost 2MM on it.

I saved the replay.
Will try to make some pics this evening.;)

I would not really advise to blow credits on this car, unless you have no other plans with them.
While it can be fun, I don't think I am going to use this car a lot.

Yeah, I don't see myself driving that a lot. And that's coming from someone that takes the 1200 bug out a lot...
Just doesn't really look like something that would be that much fun.
