Very nice.. Looks like something I should be copying in the near future. Except I'll need to make mine foldable if I want to keep the EO happy....

from the location of the pedals I am assuming you use only your right foot for gas and break?

Yes, I prefer to only use my right foot for Brake and Gas.

And thanks for all the compliments guys!

I thought it was pretty good in the first picture. After the paint job and parking it in front of the bigscreen, awesome! 👍

nice 👍 is it possible to put wood panels on the side to make it more like an actual cockpit.

I'm sure that it would be possible... Although I think it would probably be harder to get in and out of. Plus, it is already pretty heavy, I don't thinkI want to add any more weight.

Cheers,

Lyle

you have inspired me to build one of those for myself. (actually i just strted and currently have the frame complete.) How tall os the steering support column from the ground. I estimated about 2 feet tall x 2 feet wide x 5 feet long.

Here you go: I used 2x4's for the frame, and 1x4's for the steering frame. Also I used 1/4" plywood for the pedel platform.

I don't have a plan sketch for this as I just built it as I went. All the materials cost about $50 USD from Home Depot.

AND HOW DID YOU GET 52 AND 77 MPH TO LOOK SO FAST!!?? Damn I wish the sense of speed was always that good.

It looks like that because I took a picture of the screen without the flash... that is why it seems somewhat blurred.

Thats awesome!! This is one of the better home made systems I have seen. Looks like you are a very creative person. Your TV is
With a design that nice it makes me wonder if you are an engineer or architect? Just looks like we think alike. :sly:

Almost as spectacular as my Grocery/BWS/Produce/FFPP/HB/Cashier/Admin job:D

Which this month will buy me a DFP and playseat.

But that TV, mfg, its fab!

I built one just like it, it costs $49.** for the wood and paint. just one problem, what didi you do to make the steering column less flimsy.

Mines not flimsy at all.... Lets see a picture of what you've got.
